Utterly horrible defensive play by Israel Castro permits Arturo Alvarado to grab the ball and blow it past RoRo. Castro was clueless to Alvarado swooping up behind him.

Queretaro up, 1-0.

Corner is converted by Mateo Figoli, who had moved behind Castro. Behind 2-0. Looking bad right now.

Splendid header off a corner makes it 2-1. From Parejita's foot to Ignacio Scocco's head. A real nice one!

Arturo Alvarado again. Blew right in past Castro, who ended up sprawled on the ground.

3-3. Guess we'll have to be satisfied with one lousy point. Things looked so poor at the start. Scocco to the head of the class, Castro to the doghouse.

great stuff getting that video up so quick

....excitement in the stadium, but its still 2 points dropped - Castro had a shocker today, and we could easily have scored 7 or 8 - they had 5 chances and converted 3, we had about 20.....

I went to the game today. Great exciting game although UNAM blew it. The defense was awful but even so, the offense was the one who blew this game. Pumas should have won 6-3. They totally dominated and missed chance after chance. It was insane. After Parejita missed his wide open header, I kind of knew that Queretaro would score because that always happen and sure enough that did happen. By the way, great game by Alvarado. Because of the crappy sound system, I couldnīt hear who scored and just found out he scored twice. The 2nd one was a golazo.

UNAM showed charachter and Scocco was great (although he missed some chances) but UNAM just have to get it togethere offensively. This team looks like those Hugo and Espaņa slump teams, that are just relying on crosses over and over and over again. Everything was a cross by Parejita. And Parejita should shut up about wanting to play with the NT. This isnīt last season. He isnīt as fast as Alberto Medina, and his crosses are just off. He got that goal and created some but that happened after a bunch of chances. It isnīt effective. Of course if you do it again and again then a team like Queretaro would just wait for them like it happened. Palencia should just give up and become a D-mid or a holding midfielder. He fights for the ball and wins it and is great at getting and holding the ball. But thatīs it. He is too slow, takes too much time and his shooting is bad. It reminds me of the Venezuela game, when he helped the team and settled it, but becauseof getting the ball, offensively he was a non factor. If he works in his distribution, he will probably be better than Israel Lopez. UNAM had an exciting game but it really needs to get it offense working or it will end up. As it is, we need America to keep sliding, Morelia to keep losing on the road and Tigres to struggle.

Also whatīs up with La rebel paper cup throwing? They should cut that shit out, itīs not that cool and itīs land on people. Just stupid.

I kind of agree with quite a lot of that, Rafa... actually, we were OK at the back, but made big, glaring and fatal mistakes.

Castro had his worst game for years and years, and his mistake for the first goal was awful - BUT we've not seen that for ages and ages from Pumas, it stood out because we just cannot expect it from our defence, and especially not from him.

second one, badly defended set piece - well, thats clearly a problem we have.

Parejita had a good game coming back, and he is capable of a genuine dangerous cross. If Palenica is international material, then Pareja is too (but, probably so am I...)

What you say about Palencia is 100% correct. Did you notice the first two things he did today? a long back pass, and the second, he picked the ball up on the edge of their six yard box, and ran like mad out of the penalty box! too slow, too negative, how can he be in the national squad?

Scocco had a good game, got some service at last, and the chances he missed usually came from great work by himself, and you can't criticise a hat-trick.... great stuff... going back to the discussion of last year, that second goal was a genuine strikers goal.... well, you know I love him....

About the beer carton throwing.... a couple of years ago, in the middle of a really shit run, Pumas were playing really boring and playing badly the rebel started throwing them... it was funny and apt at the time,... but now they just do it all the time, whatever is happening, I mean, for f.ucks sake, was todays game not exciting enough?....

Palencia is the best forward at holding the ball and getting balls back. But now that is all he does. I was against him getting a cap against Venezuela, but when he got back, he was key because Venezuela had a lot of the ball and he was able to get it back and got us the ball back. Yet Iīm still against him being with the NT, because offensively, he is still crap. For all that BS he went on and spazzo love to point that MLS made him quick and helped him to the NT and team, he looks a lot slower and his shooting is off. I donīt thing he will get better and maybe he should try for another position like D mid or somewhere we need to get balls and control the team.

Pareja, last season should defintely been to the NT have the FMF not wasted the whole season with no games. But I havenīt see him as good, and I think that Venado Medina is a lot better than him now. I also Iīm peeved that since he went on Azteca with his dad about deserving a call up, his level of play has declined considerably.

Scocco is the best forward we have, but I though he and other missed some chances. At least he scored, the rest didnīt. Ariel Gonzalez just came in but he was crap and Iņiguez didnīt do much. Pumas should have demolished them if our finishing was decent.

Palenica can indeed hold the ball up, and is a strong, determined player, however we do need more... ou say he looks a lot slower... jesus christ!! he is magnificently slow, remarkable is lack of pace! I would not start him, to be honest.... despite the good work he does in the midfield...

I don’t really think that Pareja is international standard - despite being a better finisher than Paco....

...Gonzalez was not crap when he came in, but equally not wonderful - he worries the defence in a way that neither Jehu nor Palencia do.

Iņiguez is fast but no control, nothing wrong with putting him up them late on....

Does anyone know why Garcia was handed his second yellow card? I could not understand the announcers on Univision.
