Hibs finally win a trophy, and in fine style.

I'm glad they won. It's about time that team was rewarded for the way they play the game and the Hibs fans were very gracious in defeat after our final encounter, so I'm delighted for them. It also means we can finally get some peace. :p

Hibs deserved that, their supporters were brilliant too, Sunshine on Leith made the hair on the back of your neck stand up, even just from the TV.
I hope they do the double.

Didn't get to see the game so thank you for the videos. Hibs have been fun to watch this year and the players deserved to get something out of this season. Enjoy it!

Same place all those 'loyal' Celts were when they're not in Seville. Or possibley the same place you are at most Celtic games - not there.
Idiot.

Comments from Derek Rae excerpted:
Anyone who believes Scottish football to be the sole preserve of the Old Firm should have been watching Sunday's CIS Cup final at Hampden Park. In case you missed it, Hibernian beat Kilmarnock 5-1 before 52,000.
Hibs' football was enchanting on the day. No great surprise there since entertainment has been in abundant supply at Easter Road under the aegis of the intelligent John Collins and his equally able predecessor Tony Mowbray, before being enticed away by West Bromwich Albion.
What really caught the eye and ear was the atmosphere generated at the national stadium. Both sets of supporters got right behind their respective teams, without drawing upon songs commemorating irrelevant historical events.
What an amazing concept!

I'm sure there are a few glory-hunteing Celtic supporters.....If Brown stays(big if)and they can try and keep the rest(Benji...ect) there just a good keeper away from causeing a real problem in the SPL.

Benji's a better player than Brown. In fact Benji is one of the best players in Scotland, easily top 5.

I think Benji is fantastic--I wonder sometimes whether Hibs have been signing Muslim players to stem the drinking culture of the team and players--I might be completely wrong, but it has occurred to me more than once.
