OL vs Nancy (J29) [R]

Well the match is over but noone created a thread so here it is. Great result for Lyon and they had their backs up against the wall for the whole first half and part of the second. But 3-0 in the end for les Rhodiens. Superbe.

Baros started as striker and didnt disappoint...he opened the score. Kalstrom replaced Juninho in the second half and then BOOM, he scored. Fred came on to replace Baros after he picked up a yellow and WHAMMO, he scored.

Govou came close on a couple of occasions and Benzema set up Kalstom for the second goal. Coupet had another terrific game and kept Lyon out of danger when Nancy looked sure to score.

With the league basically wrapped up, it'll be interesting to see what kind of lineups OL will field. Theoretically, there isn't much reason to not start guys like Ben Arfa and Benzema.

unfortunately the other nancy-greater lyon matchup went less well: ASVEL got whumped and the playoffs are fading from sight as quickly for them as the championship is getting closer for OL. :o
