Apparently Ricardo Clark is already ruled out through injury and DeMerit, tough as he is, has suffered some sort of knock which kept him out of Watford's match today against Tottenham. It's not clear whether he'll still show up to US Camp or not, but who should replace the both of them if either can't make it?
My votes are for Beckerman and Wynne. Beckerman is a d-mid with some offensive ability and Wynne is a powder-keg of talent waiting to explode. I hope to god Bradley doesn't call in Mastro or Boswell, both of whom we've already seen enough of.

DeMerit is going still, the knock occured earlier in the week and they kept it on th DL b/c of their match... He is almost completely recovered already.

no one needs to be called in,
The US should have played two friendlies on the same day, one for the YA against a european team. There is no better test then playing away from home.

¿Are Clark or Demerit the title holders of the position they play?, to be replaced whit some body else.

IMO Clark has put himself in the position to be Reyna's replacement, but Felihaber and Bradley can both give him a good run for the position. Quite frankly, I'd prefer two of the 3 develop into two solid central players, hopefully allowed more freedom offensively, and removing any chance Mastro will make our 2010 squad (I'm still pissed about the Italy tackle). From the little of Felihaber I've seen, I'd say I'm impressed with his all around vision and skill set, and am really looking forward to seeing him in either upcoming friendly.
These are really the type of players we need to step up, two way players with the ability to see the whole field and distribute effectively. Felihaber and Clark could prove a formidable duo if allowed to develop together. I think others may not share my feeling, but I've been very impressed with Rico the past year, both in MLS and US play.
So onto the main question, I believe Felihaber and Bradley will function as Rico's replacement(s), with a player like Beckerman getting another call up. I'd really like to see what Wynee can do with a call-up, but honestly he's likely a candidate for a call-up following our Summer comps. Unless he shows amazing early form for the Jag Bombs he's still too raw, the Olympic team is the right place for Marvelous.
This is a comment completely made b/c I've been drinking all day, but maybe throw a ceremonial call-up to Adu...
lol, flame away.

What's wrong with Boswell? He's young and hasn't played much with the national team. I think he's looked pretty good in the ilmited playing time he's gotten with the team.
Anyways, it doesn't matter b/c DeMerit will be with the team. If he wasn't, Boswell or Parkhurst would be chosen to replace him.

KNOCK WON'T KEEP DEMERIT FROM CAMP (http://www.yanks-abroad.com/content.php?mode=news&id=2878)
Watford defender Jay DeMerit might have his US National Team debut delayed slightly by the groin injury that kept him out of action Saturday, but he should be fit for the Guatemala match on March 28th.
The Yank pulled up lame in practice and may not be ready to go when the Red, White & Blue face Ecuador three days prior.

¿Are Clark or Demerit the title holders of the position they play?, to be replaced whit some body else. Umm, yes, they hold the title of being on the US roster for upcoming friendlies, so they would be replaced if they weren't fit.

When does everyone think Freddy Adu will be called up. Im guessing after the u-20.Or, when he's earned the honor? Meanwhile, DeMerit has a week to bounce back from a knock. Barring the description of his minor knock is underestimated, he'll be in Tampa.

Pablo Mastroeni will be Clark's replacement, prompting derision from the BS masses.
Demerit will see how his groin is in Florida.

We see this all the time. What does that mean, really?

Freddy is the closest we have as play-marker type and the kid is still young.
When hasn't US coach called don't deserve?
Sampson called up Sober, Burns and Lalas ...they were already finish, yet Sampson called and two of them to World Cup.
Arena gave Lassiter, Richie Williams and Moore too many chances, yet took Joe-Max Moore to World Cup, without deserving it.

Demerit will see how his groin is in Florida.Pablo had arthroscopic knee surgery in Feb which is probably why he was left off the initial roster. Don't know if he's ready for this camp or games.

"The U.S. National Team midfielder underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure on his left knee on February 16 in Los Angeles. He is expected to be out 2-3 weeks before returning to action. The injury was sustained during the last US National Team camp prior to the game against Mexico."

I would rather see Rossi than Adu .... or Altidore rather than Johnson ....

If consistency is a requirement then a lot of our players don't qualify. Adu's time is probably after U-20 and U-23.
