I think Foster is a good young keeper prospect with a lot of potential, but this is a clear mistake that could have easily been avoided. No communication with his defenders, positioning himself too close to the defender so if there was a bad touch he couldn/t do much about it, misplaying the hop, indecisiveness ... so much wrong with his play on that goal. I think he can become a top notch keeper, but he's got a ways to go.

On a side note, that's got to feel good for Robinson after his International season thus far and considering Foster is his most likely challenger. :D

Foster was dodgy today, he made a mistake which nearly led to Mido scoring.

The centre back should have headed that away, your taught from a early age never to let the ball bounce.

That was one massive howler.

I think Carson is better anyways and should be considered ahead of Foster for the NT.

Apparently Foster called for the centre back to leave it.

I heard that on TV, but it still looked like the defender was going for it. He's Shittu and he knows he is!

What you trying to say? Another Bruce Grobbelaar? :p

I think he was just embarrassed and he knows Robbo will hammer him when he meets up with him for England.

Is Robinson the leading scorer among keepers?

I think Robbo scored in a cup game for Leeds from a corner in the last minute.

Yeah it was a last minute header against Swindon in the Worthington Cup and i think the game went to penalties which Leeds won.

In England, he probably is the highest scoring current keeper.

However, you go to South America and it's a totally different kettle of fish. Rogerio Ceni of Sao Paulo, he takes penalties. Jose Luis Chilavert, penalties and free kicks!

I think Hans-Jorg Butt in Germany scores a few too.

Peter Schmeichel scored two goals, one for Man Utd in europe and one for Aston Villa against Everton in the league in 2001.
He also had a spectacular scissor kick ruled out for offside in a F.A.Cup game against Wimbledon for Man Utd.

Robbo's goal was #1 on SportsCenter's Top 10 plays of the day.

Not too shabby.
