Maybe Simek, Pearce, Feilhaber, Bradley, Mapp, Johnson, Cooper or Twellman (granted the last four are slightly experienced against teams like Ecuador) might be subbed in 2nd half. Too many subs would disrupt the cohesion between the starters, so no more than three I think?

Why? This game is simply a friendly, an exhibition. We need to try guys out in tough games. At this point, we don't need our "most experienced" players on the field, far from it.

This is not the team I think will be out there, just the team I'd like to see out there. Midfield is green, but that's what these games are for, and the midfield definitely needs an upgrade heading into the summer. Feilhaber and Bradley are technically sound, the question is whether they have the bite for international ball. Feilhaber as the number 10, as this is his best position. We need wide players who are willing to attack, so Beasley should sit. Would like to see how Cooper and Donovan link as a big/fast combo. Both players are good one touch passers and I've been impressed with how Cooper commands space and holds the ball up. This, coupled with the fact that I thought Ching was way behind in his fitness in the CCC match, and I believe Cooper deserves 90 minutes sooner rather than later. My guess is Twellman will get the start, but he's undersized and seems to lack Cooper's broader skillset.
