Im talking about shoe that is 100$ plus. Since it is my birthday, might as well spend a bit. I have been looking around on the internet and seen some very nice shoes, like black the mercurial vapors III but then I read the reviews, and alot of them say "beware if you have wide feet". I dont need a shoe that is meant for wide feet, but just a shoe that doesnt hurt to wear if you have wide feet. Another requirement is they have to be black, just how I am.

Go to the store and try out shoes. Theres no shoe that we can recommend tbh you have to try out a shoe and see if you like it..

This is an oxymoron, Mr. Mad Hatter. Either you have wide feet or you don't. If you do, then you need a shoe built for wide feet.

As stated, the best boot for you is the one that doesn't hurt your feet. We cannot tell you which boot that is. Get off your duff & go try some on.

Alright, I can give you a general idea of some wide-fitting boots, but you really DO have to try them on first. I have wide feet also and was told that the Absolutes would fit me well, yet they were WAY too narrow.

Nike Mercurial Vapor: VERY narrow-fitting. Unless you have a very small foot, you won't have a chance of these fitting you.

Nike Supremacys: Very wide-fitting. These are what I own. If they don't fit you then you'd probably have to look at custom boots.

Puma v1.06: Very narrow-fitting.

Puma v-konstrukt: Apparently quite wide fitting

Adidas Predator Absolute: Depends on how wide your foot is. For example, I have a much wider foot than most, and like I said, they were too narrow in the instep area.

Adidas F50.7: Again, very narrow fitting. I felt the arch was much too high. Not a hope in hell these would have fit me.

There's just a few examples. There's plenty more boots out there. Except for the Vapors and v1.06s, Nike and Puma boots generally fit comfortably and wide. Adidas generally fit fairly small. In case you can't get to store to try some on, the Supremacys would be your safest bet.

Don't even bother looking at...Vapors, TUNITs, and the v1.06's.

I haven't had a chance to check out the WL Predator Absolutes or the WL TUNITs, so you might have luck with them.

Try to check out... Nike Air Supremecy, most Puma's, and maybe the Nike Air Legend.

I have a really wide foot, but have been okay with Predators (only boots I've worn in 5+ years) because they stretch out just enough for me.

Kelme boots are made on a wider last than most other brands, & I believe Joma are as well. The Puma Kings run wide; most other Pumas tradtionally run more narrow, although I haven't tried the Konstrukts to verify how wide they are.

yep, for wide feet, go with Kelme, or Puma King like the old wise is saying

I found Puma king exec's shape to be excellent for wide feet.
and then again, there's always copa, the one you can't miss.

i also have super wide feet and im flat footed.

but for some reason the F50s+ fit my feet pretty good after they got broken in. I love the shoes now and they fit like a glove.

I just spent a few weeks looking for a wide-fitting boot also - so here goes my 2 cents...hope it helps someone. For reference I wear a size 9 or 9.5 US street shoe. Also keep in mind I only wear white shoes so some of these were nice but.....well you know :)

F50.7 WL
- size 9 was still not wide enough and kinda short
- size 9.5 was better but I still had trouble closing the velcro flap over my hooves

Vapors
- too narrow. period. I couldnt even get them on without going to size 10 and that left an inch or so in front

Talarias
- were a bit wider than Vapors
- I could get into a 9.5 albeit very tight. I wasnt sure they would give at all being synthetic so I passed on these

AZT III 90
- comfy & wide. def widest Nike boot. 9.5 felt good but this boot feels a bit chunky esp compared to Talarias. I could wear this though

Legends
- 9.5 felt good - still a tad narrow but I think they would have been fine if they stretched a bit - sole/cleat design is wide and stable too

Tiempo Mystics
- 9.5 felt almost identical to Legends - leather just not as soft
- this boot is actually a great value...

Predator Absolute, Absolion
- way too narrow

Puma King Exec
- size 10 was seriously comfy boot for wide feet
- length seemed right too but they didnt have a smaller size to try
- only reason I didnt splurge was the pair I found was SG.

Puma King Classic
- I needed to go to size 9 in this boot but super comfy also
- no problem with width

Puma V-Kat II
- size 9.5 is nice comfy boot...ok width
- reasonably priced and ok leather

Umbro Xai Premier
- size 9.5 great boot for wide feet
- was easily the widest of the bunch
- reasonably priced and K leather to boot great value
- I would like to try on some more Umbros and see what else they got

So far for me its prob AZT III or King Exec FGs

PS - One thing I have noticed for me is that even though the boot might stretch in width...some cleat patterns or soles will cause a lot of pain on outside of my foot for whatever reason if you are stretching it too far over the edge...(and makes it easier to roll ankle). I found something with a wider sole and/or non-bladed cleats seems to be way more comfortable

hm.....Kinda strange....I've always been told to have a wide foot but I find my Vapor III really comfortable and I haven't had to get a size bigger! I mean they're tight but in a positive way.....hmmmm:rolleyes:

lol - well - maybe your foot is diff shape than mine but when i tried the 9.5 Vapor III on - there was space on each side of the tongue when i tried to do up the laces - I'm not spending $250 CAD on a boot that fits like that - there were just way more comfortable boots out there for me :) its a sick boot for sure though - I wish it did fit

hi
a team mate of mine told me he loves his adidas 7406's because they fit his wide foot so well, so they may be worth a try.

gravy.

Maybe some of these shoes that you think are too narrow, would fit you if you used another insole in them.

I recently went through the same process. I have bunions on both feet which makes wearing most cleats very uncomfortable. I did my research on-line at Eurosport through their reviews section and searched through the various forums on bigsoccer. I ended up ordering a 8.5 pair of Supremacy's. I've worn Copa's in a 8.5 for the last 15 years and wanted to see if there was something better out there. The Supremacy's were tight on me. I ended up going to the local store and tried on a size 9 but had the same problem and was told that because of the material they obviously wouldn't stretch too much. I held onto the 8.5s and did a little more research. The Lotto Stadio was recommended as a nice boot that stretches well and was said to be comparable (if not better) than the Copas. I returned my Supremacy's and got the Lotto's. I wanted to go to a store to try them on but couldn't find anyone that carried them so I figured I'd chance it one last time. I ordered the 8.5 and I must say that I'm quite happy with them so far. I haven't been able to wear them in a game yet (we haven't started our season yet) but they feel great and have molded to my feet well. Lighter than the Copas also. But I would suggest the same as the others. Find a store if you can and try them on. Some people say the Supremacy's are nice and wide but I didn't think so. All the reviews of all the boots have different opinions on whether a boot is "wide" or not. There's always someone who wasn't happy with the fit or width. All feet are different. FYI, the Stadios cost me $108 on Eurosport. Good luck.
