Maza at least is playing well right now. I do think he deserves another chance. The one I don't understand is why he keeps calling Palencia. He should be calling someone much younger. Ex. Landin, Esquivel, or Cacho.
Israel Castro had a great game today. lol :rolleyes: Can that be our NT level. That he calls players that suck even in our league. :mad: Borgetti was bench on Cruz Azul. I wonder why.
If Lavolpe gave out this list, there would be about 20 pages saying how Lavople suck. Pero a Hugo se le pasa todo.

I still think Ramon has something left. At the very least he would be a good sub Guardado and I thought he played well as left back against Venezuela.

Ramon would be good as a sub, but we have seen enough for a guy who most likely wont make it to the cup. Lets take him to copa oro or america but lets use these fifa dates on guys that have not gotten the chance with the national team.

Lets use these dates to showcase young guys who might have a shot at going to europe.

Another thing, Is it me or does it seem that Fonseca more than others is just living off the fact that he is a nice guy and gives it his all? This list shows that we suck balls at Forward, the only two guys that I like at the position for sure are, Bofo (who plays like garbage for the national team but is awsome with chivas) and Nery ( who plays awsome for Olympiacos but has not played in the national team).

Bravo while I dont like too much is better (in my opinion) than any forward we called up other than the above two.

I hope there is a method to the madness though, cause if it goes like this hugo is going to leave us like he left UNAM, in the shitter for 2014.

Borgetti's in that terrible time where his name still commands respect but his play isn't backing it up anymore. Even in Cruz Azul whenever Sabah steps in he gets the job done in a way Borgetti can't.

I would rather have seen Cacho or Esquivel.

What Gerardo Galindo is doing that Correa isn't is beyond me. Didn't he just pull Galindo in less than 30 minutes in the last game?

Would Hugo consider calling up Mario Méndez? He's playing better than I. Castro for my money.

I think Hugo might be nervous to start kids for two important tournaments. I'm confident that he'll start calling up new faces after the summer. I would love to see some of the U20 called up but we all know that isn't going happen. We have to remember that they have bigger fish to fry.

I really doubt Jared will start. I might be foolish but I have to believe that Hugo has been watching Borgetti and knows that at the moment he really sucks. If it were up to me I would start Arce, Bravo, Fonseca, (in that order) ahead of Jared to play along side Nery.

I was actually surprised that Hugo did not call either Galindo or Mendez. The next fifa window is on June 2 and June 6, which is just a week before the Gold Cup starts. So if these guys are going to play in the tournament, which now looks very doubtful, the earliest Hugo could see them playing is June 2. A bad decision, considering that Mexico's depth on the back line is not very strong.

As far as the youngsters, Hugo siad they won't be considered until after this summer, so any hopes and dreams of these guys playing on the senior side this summer should be extinguished, if they haven't been already.

This is Nery's last chance. If he doesn't play, then it'll be thanks for your time, and adios. If this guy has any kind of consistent goal scoring skills, it'll be a marked improvement over what is available now.

Also, by looking at the list, and past lists, it appears to me that Hugo is working toward copa oro and copa america. His prep for 2010 will begin this september. That is when the new blood will be tranfused into the team.
