It's time. Fire Soehn. His record is tarnished. There's no reason to continue the facade. We should bring in Klinnsman to replace Soehn. Tom is a nice guy but the players need a person with a German accent not just someone who has a German heritage. A competent coach would have inspired better midfield play and found a way to get the winning goal.

I think it's a travesty while Perkins is playing on one leg, Soehn instructs Viet Nam-off to score on him. That was the difference in the game.

Also, Soehn is consistently creating a cold and rainy atmosphere that is both hurting the profits by keeping warm weather fans home and making it more difficult for the players to play nicely. Yesterday, was the final straw, it was not only rainy and cold, it got windy. It was near impossible to tailgate.

I know the conservatives will say to stay the course - but the writing is on the wall. If we can't get Klinnsman than we should either get Wenger or Morinho - they are used to coaching in a league away from their home countries. Maybe Joe Gibbs should be the new coach to teach the team to be a winner.

Perhaps, we should just let the mods name the new coach since they were so successful with the Supporters, Alum thread. Then, it will eventually become a BS poll and we can really get a good coach!

Do I really need to insert a smiley?

I think Soehn is the real reason DC United hasn't gotten a stadium built.

How do you pronounce "nheoS eriF"?
The "nh" part would be like a Ny or Ni

So... "Nios erif".

Happy to be of service.

If Soehn was any good, Lot 8 would have lush grass by now.

jsf, if he starts spelling his name Söhn, is that Germanic enough for you?

I say give him one more chance. But if he turns down a beer at the tailgate a third game in a row...

Will that help Christian "the broadcasting numb-nuts" Miles to pronounce his name correctly?

Soehn kicked Nick Rimando's dog then locked it in Nick's car.

We all know what happened after that.

Stoichkov would teach the players to play with fire in their veins and more hair on their chests so they wouldn't be affected by a measly 40 degree rainstorm.

Screw the German accents we want mad Bulgarians!

No, the real problem is....Chad Ashton.

1. How can you respect anyone with a name like "Chad." It's like being called "Bif" or "Skippy"--you either picture a goody-2 shoes or a surfer dude. Not a butt-kicking assistant.

2. Clearly we were outscouted against Chivas. And we all know that scouting is the responsibility of the first assistant.

3. Ashton didn't recommend that we purchase Omar Bravo. We've already seen what the strategy is for this year that's a winning strategy: buy the opposing team's best scorer, that new acquisition will score against his former team. If we'd bought Bravo, we'd be leading the series 2-0 with goals by Emilio and Bravo. But did Ashton push for this aquisition? No!

this is so lousy

2-0-1 record.

you can't make a decsion after three games, unless the coach is ellinger

0-3-0 is easier to determine...

Anytime you can get Christian Miles and Ray Hudson in the same thread, it is a slow news day.

Heck with it; time to add another hallmark of DC United threads ...
