Umm... are you refering to the Bundesliga/MLS announcement? It already has a thread started, not sure this is DC United news worthy specifically. Can you be any more vague about what your refering to though?
Sorry to be so grumpy, just doing the job that someone else is bound to do anyway... pointing out the obvious in a mean and sarcastic tone.

There may actually be some DC-related discussion about this....

There may actually be some DC-related discussion about this.... Then why wait? If there is some news and it is already known by some, let's hear it.

There's been two threads about it in MLS N&A back since yesterday.

Exactly, way to start a thread... Big announcement from MLS coming! How big? Spread your arms wide open, from tip to tip, that big.

This thread is fine for speculation until the 1pm (if I recall correctly) announcement - then we can discuss implications more in-depth.

Are they selling Landon back? ;)
Are we trading Real Salt Lake for St. Pauli and future considerations?

Wow, I hope this league wide deal is at least half as productive as the United-Leverkusen partnership.

Why do I feel like after the announcement I'll be saying to myself, "and ..........?????" These hyped up announcements always fail to bring the promised punch. I mean the Galaxy hyped up an announcement for several days and it was an announcement for a stupid little two game "tournament" that means exactly squat. Whooptie doo. I won't be holding my breath.

Deal!! Neverkusen can have Landycakes back since LA can't afford him next year without a second DP spot. Having been to Hamburg, I can say that the roadtrip to St. Pauli would be fun. :D

Ah, excuse me, this is Golden Balls debut in America. I'm waiting for the announcement of the league being renamed Major League Beckham.

Can we at least change the title to Minor Announcement Coming: Play Make Believe and Create a DC United Implication
While I understand everyone's frustrations because, quite frankly, the last few announcements have been total duds, let us all put on our rose-colored PollyAnna glasses and think happy thoughts.
Me, I'm hoping that we're signing Piggy. ;)
