Black Persians?

I watched the movie 300 last night.. i dont know if any of you guys have seen it but I noticed that pratically the entire Persian Army in the movie where all Black/African looking, did they have alot Blacks/Africans in the Persian Empire at that time or something? :confused: :confused:

Frank Miller has illustrated 300 and it's persian army according to his personal inspiration. He has imagined the persians black.

There were some balck soldiers in the persian army who were enrolled from conquered countries. But they were a minority.

the director was trying to portrate persians as the bad guys! like black and white colors and each representing good and evil in mythology!
plus they couldnt hire omid djalili or layla milani, etc for this movie.... it would just not look right! haha
