Giggs < Figo
Scholes < Deco
Rooney < Cassano

All players sniff for $$$$$$$. Giggs may have quickly left his club had he played for the likes of Charlton.
Except that while he is on high wages, he is nowhere near the highest paid at the club. His wages and contract negotiations have been kept pretty much the same and simple at that for his whole career. The only time there was any worry about Giggs re-signing was about 2 years back as Man United has a policy of signing players over 30 to just 1 year contracts at a go, but Giggs wanted to play for the club for the rest of his career. The fact that he chose to play for Wales over England kind of hurts your argument too, even if it is directly to do with money obviously.

I'm seriously begining to wonder if you have reading comprehension problems since you seem to gloss over most of what everyone writes.
No answers then. Why don't you just give it up?
I dunno what's more hillarious
I think your post, which is full of inaccuracies and clear Portuguese bias, coupled with the fact that you cannot have read any of this thread is rather hilarious.

That's a shame, considering what Lampard is paid.
EDIT: I don't think there's anything wrong in sniffing for $$$$$. If you can find people to pay you ridiculous money to kick a ball, bravo.

I would more or less agree with you... just pointing out that while loyalty and high, high wages are often 'connected' that Giggs genuinely has been as loyal to the club as can be. For example, I would imagine his wages would have been far higher had he pushed for a move to Italy back around 2000-03 when the rumours were everywhere (especially as Italy were known to be the big payers in those days), but instead he shyed away from them, staying as loyal as could be.
Sorry, I tend to harp on when the loyalty of Giggs, Scholes or G. Neville comes into play. ;)

And on that happy note, I'm going to close the thread. This has mostly degenerated to "you're an idiot, Giggs is better" to "no way, you're a retard, Figo is clearly more awesome".
Which means that BOTH sides sound silly. So off to world rivalries the lot of you!
