well looks like we are in cruise mode now we are safe and will not get into europe.
So what do we need for next season?
Obvious we need at least one youngish decent goalscorer and someone who scores from midield would be nice too.
We definatly need some younger squad players at CH and at the back who are good enough to step up straight away.
Oh and a new manager :p

I feel like we could be okay as far as goalscoring prowess from midfield with Taylor, Mendes, and maybe Mvuemba if his form in the Reading game wasn't a fluke and they sign him permanently.

I think we just need more youth and speed at any and every position. I'm not ready to give up on the old-timers like Kanu and Campbell just yet, but at their age, a fall-off in form can happen pretty quickly and dramatically.

I like the core of our midfield, but we do need some solid youth up front and at the back. I like our age and experience, but this is a young man's game. I am still not too comfortable with our front line. Too old, too inconsistant.... too damn moody.

I hope to get more goals from midfield. Oniel should look at 6-7, KranJar 5-7, Taylor- 8-10, and Mendes probably 3-5 on a good day. That would be sufficient. Lauren should be played at RB and Traore Left whilst Campbell and Primus/Distin can hold the defence together. I'm really hoping for a good DM.
LuaLua should be a starter to find his feet again and he'll confidently bag in 10-14 while creating others.

with a bit more consistency, i'm hoping for a..........realistic 7th position and possibly a Carling cup final.

new manager no way. But some decent young home grown players would be nice. We need to start investing in our youth scheme to start building for the future
