This may be a dumb question, but isn't it getting close to camp time for the next two games? Is the roster the same as for Mexcio?

If it's a dumb question, I'm with you in the dummies' club, was glad I saw your thread before I started one asking the same thing. I haven't seen anything on ussoccer.com or anywhere else about when any announcements will be made. Really curious to see who's called in, I'm thinking/hoping it will be VERY different from Mexico. No excuses this time for not calling in several Euros who haven't gotten much of a shot recently if ever (Demerit, Spector, even some of the young up-and-comers like Davies would be fantastic).

Right, because Bradley has nothing to play for (like a job). It might be predetermined that he will be out but you can be sure he will not treat the situation that way....if you were fighting for your job, you would do the same thing. Be prepared to be disappointed with the roster.

Not with MLS pre-season under way. The first of the two int games is on the what the 25th? Don't expect much of an extended camp.

Bradley also will be playing with the U-20s this summer, so not much point in calling him in for this senior camp.

And one of his duties as coach is to bring in a variety of different players for looks. Since this is the beginning of a new cycle, he better be bringing new guys in.

If this is an international date, it'll be more of a "getting to know you" session and not a real camp.
Not enough time.

both of the next two friendlies are on international dates (as is the June 2 match v China).
March 24-28 and June 2-6 are FIFA Fixed dates for official competition matches.

While I don't recall the website, I read somewhere at the end of last week that call-ups will be made this week and that camp will start next week.

That's what I remember seeing, too, but I don't know where I saw it.

Roster will be announced this week, and some Euro players are going to get their shot. ;)
There is going to be about a week for Euro based players to practice after the EPL match's this weekend. Should be interesting.

Can't see too many new faces really, as Bob Bradley has yet to acquaint himself with a lot of the old faces as of yet. Has he ever even met Onyewu or Cherundolo in person?
Perhaps Jay Demerit and Benny Feilhaber will get calls, but other than that, I can't see any new faces, let alone big surprises.

demerit and feilhaber would be very reasonable new faces...
do agree, the fans lust for the kiddies in europe won't be satisfied, as any u-20 is dedicated towrads canada...
but i suspect the camp is really a GOLD CUP prep camp, get everyone coordinated and have two prep matches....
i'd see this being heavily euro based, with only key mls guys showing up...

Bradley has to decide if he really wants to look at alot of different players in these friendlies so that when the games count he can say he really evaluated. Why do so many people think that new players can't win the games also???? IMO the Mexico game was basically the same as having Arena in as coach. This is the time he should experiement with style, creativity and all types of different players. People would agree that we have alot more good players if they were given exposure at the national team level. It is like saying we have a professional soccer league but they aren't good enough for our national team. Only players that play or even sit on the bench in europe are good enough. That is ridiculous... Some good players have chosen to play in the USA.

So let me get this straight...you don't think Bob Bradley looked at enough domestic players at his all domestic camp? Or do you think he didn't look at the right domestic players?
The current standard for a USA international is to be a top performer in the domestic league, or a solid contributing player or better in one of the world's top leagues.
I guess what I'm asking is, do you have a point here?

did anyone know that switzerland will be in florida next week and play 2 games on march 24th an 28th vs colombia and jamaica . why didnt usa schedule a game against them why the hell we guatamala thats wrong u guys agree i rather usa play a friendly against a quility side like switzerland over guatemala or ecuador

Why Ecuador? Why Gautamala? Because of this summer, and the style of play we will see will be similiar to Ecaudor and Guatemala. Sometimes the best opponent is not always the strongest side...

I seem to recall Ecuador being at the past 2 World Cup finals, and even making it out of their group last summer.
I wouldn't lump them in with Guatemala.
Playing Switzerland wouldn't make that much of a difference.
