I think a lot of people like Eleven Men In Flight (Swaziland). I'm partial to Newell's Old Boys (Argentina).

I actually keep a running list of my favorites.
Here are some of the highlights.
Hearts of Oak, Ghana
Jeanne d'Arc, Senegal
AFC Leopards, Kenya
Simba SC, Tanzania
Pharoahs, Egypt (NT)
Squirrels, Benin
and the winner is:
Mysterious Dwarfs, Ghana.
This is the perfect youth team name, right down to the spelling. I simply love it but my daughter's U6 team won't go for it.

Get real.... what's special about Real Madrid? How many Reals are there in Spain? 5? 10?
I've always like the names Aston Villa, Flamengo, Fluminense and River Plate.

I personally like Tottenham Hotspur, but then I'm biased.
Ones such as Total Network Solutions and Inter- cabletel are also good in the LoW. Jeff Stelling of Sky Sports always makes the "they'll be dancing in the streets of Total Network Solutions" joke.

It's silly but I like this one: San Frecce Hiroshima
San = 3 in Japanese
Frecce = "arrow" in Italian
There's a local legend about a local warlord who taught his sons the importance of family by snapping an arrow in half, then binding three arrows together and asking them to snap them into halves.
