Damn that picture still hurts...

It's going to be hella tough for El Salvador to do anything in this tournament after the showing they had in the UNCAF T.

Aguante pulgarcito!

Why? No team even tried in this last game, ES was just pissed cause CR tapped us again.....and Guatemala about Panama, it was a game that the players of both Seleccciones didn't even want to play.

dont worry Ruiz and Pezzarossi will open ES a new one , with them ES hasn't beat Guatemala in 5 years, not only that they know how to score against Top defenders on a regualr basis, they Will expose the ES backline.

exactly History, my point is Guatemala is miles ahead in the forward department. it didn't call for you to attack me on a personall level. Top defenders the MLS??? ruiz at 22 was schooling Carlos Bocanegra(chicagoFire) who was exported to Fulham in the EPL. Ryan Nelesn of BlackBurn in the EPL fromely of dc united. those are just a few of the players he faced in the MLS on a weekly basis, not to mention Tony Sanneh who played In Germany Bundesliga after being with the Crew.

sure Guatemala never made it , you speak the truth there, but you must relize this isn't the 80's anymore, the level of play of the Concacaf are way more faster and skilled now then in 1982, Guatemala has been able to keep up and grow, export player to europe ( Ruiz and Pando to greece), (Pezzarossi to the EPL and spain 2nd).( swisher to Poland Top flight) which are leagues much tougher then any league in Central America. hell ES players can't even get a sniff from any MLS sides of late, and they have struggled. guatemala has sent many players there and have attracted intrest thier with our U20 and U23 teams.

so yes you can go play with your past and remeber the day when magico played in spain ( its not like he is the first ) , but im about the future,

ES will have a tough time with our Experienced attack, is all im saying ask Jamaica when Ruiz put 3 past there defence full of EPL player. i doubt ES league player could do a better job containing him alone then the EPL jamaica backline.

hit me off with some facts, that matter, not some garbage that you were once great and have a great tradition, hey newsflash Cuba made to the WC before any of CA, but you don't hear them using that excuse, in thier bad form.

People in the Concacaf know what Guate attack is capable of when ruiz and pezzarossin is there.

who from ES can mirror Guate attack and then present me some facts? becuase to me honestly ES could be the weakest link.

Enjoy, and please don't take it personally, just know how to construct a useful argument and then i will respect your opinion more.

1.I wouldn't go that far. If Ruiz schools everyone so damn much why hasn't he gone to a better league. If the people he has 'schooled' gone to better ones?
2. Your about the damn future but mate, Guatemala has no ********ing future if your best players in history haven't done anything spectacular.....your damn national is once again the best you've had and still can't win championships or go to the WC...
3. Everything i've said is facts buddy. Your just to ignorant to realize it.
You say are football is history and yes as of now i agree, but your damn problem is that you speak to highly of your damn sele but hasn't proved shit, when you guys get raped by USA and Mexico 4-0 all day.
5. El Salvador has had players that played in Top notch leagues like
Magico for Cadiz, who is considered to be one of the best who have ever played.
Jaime La Chelona Rodriguez in Germany, and other European 1st division teams.
Carriota Barraza for Santos ....etc. but still are Nat'l was mediocre, and we have learned to accept that and still have pride for our country not have bollock hullocinations.

All i'm trying to say is that it's great that you are so ambitious on your nat'l team but you have to be realistic, hopefully you will get that through your skull.

Last year they wanted him to help david suazo carry the scoring load for Cagliari in the Serie A, but Cagliari didn't have a strong enough offer. his first year in the MLS , Everton and Wolverhampton and Coventry City all wanted to sign Ruiz and offered him stints, of course ruiz was young and reckless in those times to stay. not to mention the countless Scottish Clubs that wanted ruiz , along with Cagliari back in 2005

Ruiz could of left but the MLS is wellknown for keeping thier top foriegn players and signing them to lucrative contracts, and rejecting offers from european clubs(ie S.joseph to Celtic FC 1 million dollar transfer fee and then the 2 million dollar transfer fee.)

as far as history Guatemala has had a few other great players beside ruiz.

Selvyn Pennat played in Chile.
Martin Machon who has played In Spain for Real Valladolid at 17 and after a few year there in mexico for Atlas, Santos de laguna and i believe puebla following that , then when his carrer died down in the MLS.

Then we had 1 player that hopped around in spain before being signed to Real Madrid FC , he was the first Guatemalan to play in spain too.

his name escape my mind , but popol can provide that information,

future , we have i great one our Under 20 destroyed ES u20 6-1, ties Panama and the USA, although we choked in the end to Make it to the U20 WC , our U 20 player , are a whole different level and have clubs abroad with offers.

out future also Consist of 23 year old willie Sims who plays in the mls and he speed demon with a fast touch and finish, with him alone he can pick apart most teams in the UNCAF region. in the uncaf you only saw a half of Guatemala's Future.

watch how Guatemala performs in the next few months and then we can discuss the progress i was really talking about.
our sele may not be USA or Mexico, but we are certainly in the top 6 in the region.

Sure buddy we will see soon, as for u-20 that's all good mate, our u-17 is amazing as well, but it's too really to talk.

Can i see the articles of Ruiz's offers, because we all know how you tend to embellish a bit mate.

embilish? what? i speak the truth maybe the media might release info to early before its official and i post it but i don't embelisn.. im sure some LA fans can pull some old 2004 links and i my self will do so.

i keep forgeting that you are young and might not be aware of Carlos ruiz and his INTL and Club record an how quite impressive it is in just a few years,
