The March meeting will be at the KiXX game on 3/24. Tailgating will start at approximately 2 PM, kickoff is 5:05. OKT is working on details.

Ok, looks like the tentative final number is 30 people. Not overwhelming, but should make for a vocal crowd.
Still working on logistics as far as tailgate is concerned. I'm thinking we'll bring a few grills and we can do a potluck type of deal, bring what you want cooked.
Let's start collecting ticket money and contact the club and let them know how what kind of numbers we'll have.

Good. I've got dinner reservations downtown at 8pm, so this works out perfectly.
I just hope I'm not covered in beer, vomit, and sweat during the game. Or during the tailgate.

i have messages in for an update on the scarf order, and an approximate date when i can expect to receive them. i also hope the t-shirts will be done in time for the game (and will be sending paypal requests out tonight or tomorrow, as i didn't have time over the weekend). multiple attempts at contacting humphrys (for philly city flags) have gone unacknowledged ... i might just have to walk up there and buy the damn things.
in other words, the 3 things i'm responsible for purchasing/ordering/distributing before or at the kixx game are still in flux. i hope i don't let you down.
oh, and to top it off, it's looking 50/50 as to whether i'll be able to attend.
ain't life grand.

yah they're pretty bad about their internet correspondence. ive been able to get responses from them although they do seem kinda rude.
I think I remember them telling me that a 6' by 10' philadelphia flag is like 150 dollars... 3x5' is $50... I dont think they stockpile them so an order is like a custom order which may be why its so expensive. (Im seriously considering getting the bigger one to put up on my apartment wall.)
...I was able to rummage through my email and found this about their flags...
Our flags are acid dyed on industry standard 200 denier flag nylon. These flags are made in our plant in Pottstown PA. You can see photos of some of our other work at www.bannersasap.com

So the wife and I were talking at dinner tonight, celebrating the Pens staying in Pittsburgh and the topic of a trip back to the city of my birth came up. I am pretty sure I convinced her on the weekend of the Kixx game. So, that being said, if I do come out that weekend, I am fairly sure I'll can/will bring anywhere from 4-10 people with me. Since the deadline to buy tickets has passed I'll probably just get them at the game and walk out to your dumbasses to say hello to the farthest traveling SoB. This is assuming of course that I decide that visiting my parents is a good thing.
