The conjecture has been that Arturo Moreno is the lead investor/operator for a Phoenix MLS team. Aside from owning the LA Angels of Anaheim, Arturo hit the wealthiest list of Americans at something like #411...with a worth of $1.2 billion...

He is a well known UA grad. It is always reported that he donates money to help pay for things sporting related at the university. If anyone could bring a team to arizona, this is the man to do it.

Awesome. We can have the Awahtukee United Football Club of Phoenix.
I'd be thrilled if he was the guy. He'd be a great owner and Phoenix FC would be competitive quickly.
