Me too (enjoying and playing it on xbox). Just saw "Reloaded" too. It'll be interesting to see the game's connection to the film.

Does the game use the Max Payne engine? MP essentially -was- the Matrix in a lot of ways...

I don't think it's the same engine. It doesn't play as well as Max Payne. The controls aren't very smartly put together, either.


It's really not a great game. It's a mediocre game with great cutscenes and a story that make the game much more compelling to play than it should be. The graphics (apart from the DVD cutscenes, obviously) aren't that great, and I've heard that they're even worse on PS2.

Like most licensed games, this depends a lot on the license and not enough on making interesting gameplay. I had hoped for better after I heard about how much they put into this, but it seems like the developers didn't bother to try to make a truly Great Game.

It's still fun to spin around in the air and jump off walls and shoot people, though.

I just got this game last week. I'm really digging it. I just can't drive too well (can't get follow the plane as Ghost, and can't get past the cops as Niobe).
