The Reserve Division schedule has been released (of course it is on the US Soccer referee assignment website....not mlsnet.com) so inquiring minds will get to know if:

* Jay Nolly can bring the goods as Perkins back-up
* Shawn Crowe can stick after a having a revolving door (i.e. McIntosh, Webber, Terris) at #3 GK the past few seasons
* A backline of Devin McTavish, John Wilson and Stephen deRoux is to be feared
* Bryan Arguez has the makings to be a steal where DCU drafted him
* Jeff Carroll can make the family bloodlines proud
* Justin Moose has progressed after a disappointing rookie year
* Yinka Casal is a good enough left wing prospect to warrant a senior roster spot
* Rod Dyachenko is able to be the offensive jack of all trades (A-Mid, Outside Mid, Forward) that Kasper said that he would be when he gave up a #1 pick to get him back from Toronto
* Jamil Walker can lead the Reserve Division in scoring
* Guy-Roland Knepe can replicate the scoring prowess (for one game) of Robert Ssejjemba at the Aux

Jay - thx.

Couple of questions. Or at least things that need to be worked out:

Sun 6/10 – NY @ DCU 1st team plays at 1pm - doesn't make sense that the reserves would play at 1000.

Sun 8/5 - DCU @ NE - DCU plays at 4pm. When is the reserve game? This may impact flight times....

Sun 9/9 – NE @ DCU 1st team plays at 3pm - doesn't make sense that the reserves would play at 1000.

Sun 9/23 – DCU @ CHI 1st team plays at 3pm - would reserves follow the 1st game?

Hell yeah! :D These'll be fun!

I predict near-riot conditions as the Barra & Eagles, in full voice (and empty kegs) lay on the smack with a trowl for 4-1/2 straight hours

thx Jay.

PG13 may be hard to constrain given the flowing of alcohol!

I predict the most dangerous section of road in the US may be the connection between lot 8 and lot 4 after the 1st match!

Damn I have a video conference that day in the weeeeeee hours of the morning here in DC.. so I'll be showing up to the game in a bizniz suit... great... let the tauntin' begin...

So all we get is 1 game a month except for August, but then 2 in September? That's a very short schedule... Did we get more games last year?

Same 12 game schedule as in the past 2 seasons - someday MLS will hopefully increase the game count to give these players some serious playing time.

It scares me that you are able to call up those images so readily.

That said, I think Donovan, Beckham, and Albright would look great in those outfits.

Well, the TBA's for all the Open Cup matches haven't been officially added to the schedule yet. ;)

Obviously you're new, so I'll help out before somebody gets smart.

I can't speak for all other MLS teams, but yes, you can go to all Home DC reserve team games, at the auxillary field adjacent to RFK. Admission is free. Donuts compliments of the Screaming Eagles. First come first serve seating, suggest arriving early.

Aux field is surrounded by the green wrapped fences on the parking lot opposite the main gates, ie, the side almost nobody parks on anymore (north side).

Also suggest joining the Eagles, as it will pay for your donuts.

A great experience for buffs and the curious. Come and enjoy.

They have been playing USOC games ever since the Reserve Divison started - by the time that MLS teams enter that comeptition, the USOC game count still does not add up to many games when combined with a 12 game reserve schedule (especially if the team actually goes far in the USOC - then the 1st teamers start seeing more USOC playing time [unless Arsene Wenger starts coaching in MLS]). Bottom line is that the reserves needs more games, not less games.
