well, for getting the cobwebs out of the old noggin, there's nothing like giving OM a good thrashing! and now's our chance!
i'm giddy as a schoolboy just thinking about it. just the thing before easter when the inlaws come to town!

RVR has the right idea:
Anthony Réveillère (défenseur de l'OL)
La Roma fait partie du passé. C'est fini. On était plus déçu en 2006 après le Milan AC. Maintenant, on doit réagir. On sera présent dimanche soir. C'est important pour notre public. On lui doit bien ça. Et puis, on a encore besoin de quelques victoires car le titre n'est pas gagné. Lens reste à l'affût malgré treize points de retard. Nous avions réalisé une grosse première partie de saison. On n'a pas le droit de la gâcher. from football365.fr

Thanks for the quote--I keep *hearing* the right things from OL players, but I'm just not seeing it through the results on the pitch. I see these things over and over again, but have there been any signs from anyone that there's something going on in the locker room beyond the company line?

Final score, 1-1.
All in all, it was an exciting game. Both teams missed a lot of clear cut chances, and there were definitely moments when both Lyon and Marseille slowed down and played lazily.
It's unfortunate about the goal we conceded, but I'm just glad it was only one goal. It could have been a lot more if it hadn't been for Coupet.
It's the weekend of draws. Lens and Lille also drew, and our former Champions League friends - Real Madrid, Barca, Chelsea, MU, Bayern, Valencia, and PSV - drew. Only Roma and Inter won, but there is just something fishy about Serie A.
So at least Lyon is in good company.

not a great result letting Marseille equalize late but what can you say about Baros...a good signing after all.

Baros does have a tremendous work rate.
It would have been nice to get the 3 points, but a draw is a fair result.

Indeed, Baros put on a solid performance. I think I'm gettin hooked on to him. :D

Final score, 1-1. It could have been a lot more if it hadn't been for Coupet.and a lot LOT more if not for carrasso!
what cheered me was the way OL played all out to win (and nearly did) in the last minutes. also fine contributions from toulalan (tireless), tiago and baros, and the return of juni's magic touch (a couple of beauties).
the 3 point would have been the closing chorus to the championship: a 15 point lead with only 30 still to chase! but even now, if OL finishes W3/D3/L4, lens has to W8/D2/L0 to be champion!
and as far as the company we keep in europe, juni said as much in the tunnel; that 7 other teams were knocked out of the CL last week including some huge customers, and that there's still alot to look forward to. very nice to see him cheerful after his very dreary statements just after roma.

it was a huge disappointment. its only human to be negative after a loss like that...he's not a machine after all. that stuff can really bum someone out...especially a passionate man like him. but to bounce back is what counts.

man of the match was coupet in my opinion. Baros had a great game and did hard work out there as did Benzema. Made alot of quality runs down the flank. That volley he took in 30th minute was well executed but unfortunately just a little wide. If it wasn't for that sitter that Wiltord missed the game would have been over. Though he had a solid game out there. Marseille looked threatening throughout the match and i saw an equaliser coming. I also saw a classic 90th min winner from Lyon, and it nearly happened. All in all a good match.

man of the match was coupet in my opinion...i'd say carrasso! in any case, guy roux said before the match it would be a keepers' battle... he may seem to dodder at times but he had that spot on!

I've always fancied Carrasso. He'll be a great goalkeeper someday.

They were both equally up to the task that day, but the two point blank saves coupet had to make, did it in for me.
