Gabby has just been called up for Nigerias next nations cup qualifier ? Having already repped Eng U21 he says he is unsure of his future.

He is only 20, and I've seen him play once or twice, How do u guys rate him ? Is he a striker or a winger?

Nigeria has plenty strikers but are short on talented wingers at the moment.

Where is his heart? Does he want to represent his country or does he just want to play international football? If the answer is the latter, I think he'll go with Nigeria.

I don't think I have to tell anyone that it's much easier to get into the Nigerian side than an England one.

I've watched a few games featuring Agbon, and think he's got a good future with England if he continues to improve.

I see nothing in the Gabby other than pace.

He should choose Team GB and aim for London 2012

Since he has played in a competitive England U21 game I don't think he can now play for Nigeria...well I hope not.

Super Eagles have also taken too more from us in Victor Anichebe & Nedum Onuoha

shame because I like Anichebe and Agbonlahor.

FIFA changed the rules so players who represented a nation at under-21 can later change.

countries like ireland loved that rule.
Seems like Nigeria love it too.

I remember a few years ago they tried to get Marlon King and Zat Knight, didn't work out.

They also tried to get Wayne Rooney and Aaron Lennon, both rejected

yeah ,staunton wants folan.
check the ireland forum.

I remember when scotland tried to pick matt le tissier and john barnes on the basis of their british passport.
wales picked scott barnard because he was born on a british airforce base in germany and therefore was eligible for all british teams.

Is he a good dribbler ?

He kicks the balls and runs from what I can see and relies on pace even more than SWP.

Could be an effective player but not someone I would describe as a good dribbler

FIFA changed the rules so players who represented a nation at under-21 can later change.

They can if they can prove that they were eligible to play the second nation before they played at Under-21 level.

As for the three players, I don't think any of them have the makings of long term internationals. They may go on to pick up a few caps, but I don't think any of them would be a huge loss.

Which doesn't mean a bad thing. I've seen many a goal scored by doing that, no matter how technically lacking the player is.

none of them are a big loss. We've got plenty of pacey right footed players with more skill than Agbonlahor.

For someone like Onuoha its a decent decision, he's highly unlikely to get any caps with England, but with Nigeria's crap defence he'll get a 100.

Anichebe could be useful, but is a bit Amoebi-ish.

How come England couldn't score against Nigeria's crap defence ?
