I'm 63. I played quite a bit of pick up soccer last year. I'm waiting for the snow to melt. I mostly referee, now; I don't get beat with my speed quite as badly. :o

25 here. 5 times per week, on average, 4 pickup games, 1 league game, and then 2 days per week just working on drills by myself.

I'm 30, and I haven't played since an ankle injury two and a half years ago. But I make my triumphant (I hope) return next month.

I'm 43 now. Since I've been, about, 27 I've felt like I can't turn down any chance to play because I was getting old and the playing days could soon be over. I play in an indoor and outdoor league. About 3 games a week. This is with a job, wife, kids, and a coaching job. And, if somebody called this second saying they needed another player for their team I'm sure I'd say yes.

I am 45, and a few months ago I learned what a severely pulled hamstring feels like after stretching for a crossed ball that was just barely reachable...

40 in September. I play coed once a week from April - July, then Sept. - November. Men's league also once a week from April - August. I also coach P & R during the summer and fall and High School in the Fall. So during those times I'm constantly playing to some extent.

I'm 15. I should be playing for highschool except for that damn no pass no play rule, but it's fine because the club season starts in a few weeks.

Eat right, sleep right, exercise regularly (stay away from the high impact stuff), don't smoke, etc., and you can still be doing everything (at a slower pace of course) at age 70. Of course that is what the old farts on my team tell me. When I hit 70, I will let you know if its true. At 55, I am still a young guy.

Take care of your injuries or they'll catch up to you. Unfortunately when I was playing in high school and college we really didn't have the real trainers so my injuries compounded and the domino effect started to occur. Don't worry about taking time off to heal. Your touch won't go away and playing at 100% will make you a lot more happy than playing at anything less.
