The last time I went which was in 2004, I bought the latest Boca jersey for $80 pesos.

Last December 2005 my parents went and brought me back the Argentina jersey that they used during the WC, and paid $120 pesos for that one.

Both were great deals.

I was there this past summer, and Boca started using the new jersey. I bought that new jersey, official one 2 days after it came out for 120 pesos (aprox. $40). I def thought it was a bargain. It might be cheaper now though.

To add a number the price is more. I think 10 pesos per number

my grandma is argentina right now and i asked her to bring me back the boca jersey, but they told her 200 pesos !!! Meaning $66.

For that, wouldnt I just buy it here in Miami?

I went to Buenos Aires in July 2006 and bought the Boca shirt and the Argentina shirt and they were both very reasonable prices...I can't remeber the prices but they were about US$55. If its not too much trouble for your gran, ask her to get you one there instead...then you've got a argentinian shirt from Argentina...the best football country in the world!

remember, they charge for letter and number.
So, it could be that she is trying to buy say a riquelme jersey, when if you biuy it without a name it will be cheaper, and even cheaper without the number ;)

My mother got me a Boca jersey in Argentina about a year and a half ago and it wasn't that expensive.

About 4 months ago I ordered the new Boca jersey with #14 and Palacio in the back online directly from Argentina and it cost me about $70 in total with the S&H.

in July i went to BA and bought the Away '07 Shirt and had the Numbers for TEVEZ put on, it came out to about $70.00 U.S., I Might have gotten it cheaper in a smaller store but i could not find any other place that did the numbers.

havent been to argentina but in a mexican market in cancun i bought an official 2006 world cup argentina jersey for $10 american

ya my official jersey with no number and no name came out to 120 pesos ($40) and that was in august when the season was just beginning, they had just won the bicampeon and just came out with the new jersey
