I got this in my mailbox about 15 minutes ago:
----- begin -----
Dear Friend of D.C. United,
One of the most important matches in D.C. United history will be played next Thursday, March 15 (8 p.m. ET), at RFK Stadium and we absolutely need your support in order to be successful.
D.C. United will be playing the most storied team in Mexican soccer history -- Chivas of Guadalajara -- in the first leg of round two of the CONCACAF Champions' Cup.
We made history in the first leg, winning 4-1 away to Olimpia of Honduras on the way to a 7-3 aggregate victory, but the challenge will be even greater now.
WE NEED OUR FANS TO COME OUT AND SUPPORT US NO MATTER WHAT! That means our fan clubs, our young supporters and their parents, our group leaders, and our individual fans. We know that the Chivas fans will be on hand -- it's time for the fans of D.C. United to show that they understand the importance of a match such as this one, and show that they will not allow D.C. United to be the "visiting" team in RFK Stadium.
WE KNOW WE CAN COUNT ON YOU TO SUPPORT US ON
THIS ALL IMPORTANT OCCASION! D.C. United is the most storied team in MLS history, and you are the greatest fans in MLS. Let's make history together.
Vamo United!
Kevin Payne - CEO
Tom Soehn - Head Coach
Jaime Moreno - Captain

supposedly there's a big ad in the WashPost sports section today about ticket sales for 3/15. if someone could scan that and share it here, it would be appreciated, as I don't want to try to track down a free or cheap used copy of today's paper.

And if the Pumas game is any indication, don't plan on buying tickets at the door since the Mexican walk-up crowd will be enormous.

He's isn't kidding as this being the biggest game United has played in quite some time. This game is IMPORTANT and DC fans MUST SHOW UP! There is no doubt that Chivas fans are buying tickets in groves, therefore the stadium will already have a heavy Chivas fan support. DC UNITED FANS, this is it, the moment of truth... BRING IT ON!!! GET THE WORD OUT, we need more than 8k fans for this game, we need to fill the stadium with as many people to support the BLACK as possible.
REMEMBER THIS? WE DID WELL!!!

A paper costs 35 cents. How cheap are you?

Just bought 2 tickets last night and I'm deep into the 300's. There is going to be a carnval atmosphere next week. It took too long to get thru my thick skull that there would be a lot of Chivas folk there, but at least i got a seat. If the team is 1/2 as fired up as I am, this will be awesome.

I'm bringing 8 Pumas and America fans with me.
Nobody hates Chivas more than America fans! And the Pumas fans are still pissed about all the Chivas fans that came to cheer against them last year at RFK. I'm guessing at least 25% of the Mexican fans at the game will be going against Chivas.
