there is no doult that germany didnt produce so many qualified players like klinsimann or haesler and so on from 1995 to 2000.
the biggest reason is bosman ruling imo.club can buy players from all over the world.so prebosman a young player only needed to compete with older players and other young players.nowadays players need to compete with the players all over the world.
and another reason is traditional german players need enough time to grow.when they are young they are not good enough compared with spaish or south american or african players.so they cant play enough match . it means they cant have enough room to grow which is of great importance.
before 2000,there is a myth that german player is the strongest player on the pitch.but now it doesnt.the strongest players in the world is from west afrcans.(another interesting thing is that black players from holland are skilled players such as seedorf. he was considered the most cleverest player on the pitch.and black players from france are much more stronger than seedorf or davis.i think thats become france players are from western african.they are much more stronger than holland players.so there are two types of african football.west african football and east african football.)so some position like DM or CF which needs tall and strong,west afrcan players are better than german players.for example sessoko in liverpool was so strong that even messi and ronaldinho couldnt beat him yesterday. in england makelele and diarra and essien and mikel and so on are all strong DM.yakubu and ajahowa are strong CF.they are much more cheaper and not worse than german players.
and german players are usually expensive than sa and african players so club like buy african and some american players.in fact not only germany but all holland and england are suffering from bosman rulings.
nowadays football market is becoming a world market.players will compete with all players from the world,so ue football market will have more players from the whole world and have less players from ue is a trend.
after 2000 germany have produced many strong and skilled players such as kuranyi and podoli and schweini and gemez.they are not only strong but also skilled so they can survive in the world football market.and from 2000 i think german football is on the right way i think.but i really wish germany produce some players that have strong personality just like effienburg or lahmann or kohn or even ballack.new players are peach and like litter girls.
