From los protagonistas & CNI Deportes.

Details are sketchy due to the Clubs secrecy, but it appears the new youth programs or talent scouts have uncovered a gold nugget. His name is not yet known to anyone outside the top echelons, but some club officials speaking under condition of anonymity have stated that they have uncovered a 14 year old kid with great technical skill, his natural tendencies lean toward that elusive midfielder playmaker

Some club officials are so impressed, they believe this kid alone is worth all the money They are spending on the new programs 3 times over. It is also rumored some guys at the Top don’t want him glorified before they have a chance to work every detail of his development (physical and psychological) The aim for the new crop of player will be to Debut in Mexican first division by age 18, but this wonder boy might be ready by 16.

---------------------------------------

I'll post more details if they are made available.

If he's "real", there is no way he could be "secret".
If he's a super talent then it can't be secret. Makes zero sense.

Makes perfect cense.

There have been too many cases in Mexico where young players are adored and Over hyped for their promising talent only to become premadonas and flop when push comes to shove like Osorno, Zepeda, Gonzo or Isela just to name a few.

Sorry but a super talent is talked about by the locals and then the media and on and on and not "hidden" away and unknown but to a few club officials. It sounds like a fable to me. It never happens like that.

and what would a galacto fan know about this?:D
i heard this on "Los Protagonistas" they said that he was a very good talent and all but to keep him under wrap so he wont be overwhelmed with all the pressure he would be getting.
if you read the post clearly you will understand.:p

And he came in a big space ship and said "Take me to your coach".
Like I said. You can't keep a huge talent a secret unless he just plays with himself.
And BTW: Galacto fan lived in Mexico City and has been spent time in every state in Mexico and in every country that speaks Spanish and that includes the islands. I've worked with the press in Mexico and been interview on TV in Mexico. Once on Siempre En Domingo, for one. I know a lot about Mexico for a Galacto fan.

why not? since the chivas recruiting program was only a short time ago maybe they have kept him a secret since for the short time after the trials. Now with all the fuzz it wont be for long til the outside press finds out who he is.

Gracias,

si de ambos. Aunque estoy un poco resentido por el nuevo dueno de chivas, en mi opinion es una verguenza para el equipo al igual gue para el futbol Mexicano.

It's very simple. If he's some huge, future world class player who will be changing the face of football anywhere, as was implied here, there would not be quessing on who he is and it would not be a secret.
Sorry. Just doesn't happen.

You're just jealous because our secret #10 is better than Adu.

I guess this secret player of yours doesn't want to play for the Mexican Nats?
Do they train him on a hidden field somewhere with players sworn to secrecy?
Too bad for him he's a secret. Adu just got a million from Nike this Thursday because he's not a secret.
Anyway, this might qualify as the most ridiculous thread in the history of BS.
It surely is BS.
If this person even exist, he can't be very good or someone would have been talking about him before he became a secret for Chivas.

I stand corrected on that. I took the "wonder boy" and 14 years old and the "secret" a bit too strongly at first. So I make my own point. He isn't anything too special after all! http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/images/icons/icon7.gif
Thanks for pointing out my haste and error!

Futbol coverage in the US is almost non existant. You are lucky to find some articles here and there usually hidden in the back of the sports pages. The US is also looking for the next best thing to launch the sport into prime time so i can understand why they are Hyping up Adu. I think hes a good talent but far from a Maradona or Pele and i honestly doubt he will get to be like them by learning the Game in the states which lacks any player of that Caliber and has never had one and doesnt even practice that style of play. Look at it this way Adu couldnt even win the Dallas Cup against Tigres youth Team. And Tigres isnt really known for producing talented players !!!

As far as the secretive Mexican kid with the talent of Zizou, well there is more reason to protect him from the media in Mexico than in the U.S. In Mexico the media can and will tear you a new one. Also if he becomes famous which can happen more easily in Mexico than in the U.S, he wont be able to live a normal youngsters life. In the US only the peeps OnLine hard core footy fans know about Adu in Mexico if this is Hyped in the same manner he wont be able to walk out the door of his house without being recognized. To me its too early to tell if he is good or not and maybe in two or three years we will hear from him if he truly is that damn good, or next time Chivas comes to the Dallas Cup..

My Two devaluating Pesos :D :p
