I will be making a high school graduation trip my senior year to Austria, Switzerland, and Italy, with connecting flights in London. I've been to some Prem matches but never an England match.

I visited the Euro 2008 website and it has that whole ticket application thing. I don't know what dates I will be available as it is so far ahead in advance and I haven't really worked out all the details as to what country I will be in on which days, but I really would like to see an England match.

Would it be virtually impossible to get a ticket without applying through that website?

If I could get one off of a scalper, would it go over £250?

Also, doesn't the FA require you to be an England supporter member to get the tickets through them?

Cheers.

It will be extremely difficult to get tickets.

The chances on UEFA for an England ticket are very, very small.

Even if you are a member of englandfans+ which is now closed anyway, you need to have quite a few caps to be sure of a ticket. I haven't got enough caps to have a decent chance.

Touted tickets will depend on the game, but at tournaments they are so difficult to get anyway. £500 upwards is starting to get common for the bigger games.

I knew people who payed that for the WC games against Sweden and T&T, even more for Ecuador, and touts were asking £1000 for the game against Portugal.

buy 'em on e-bay....I did for my son and myself for euro 2000 in Holland....the tickets had names on them (Sven Zuniger) that just didn't "fit" with the way we looked and even though "they' said all tickets would be checked thoughly it was a crock....we got through with NO TROUBLE....enjoyed the game and flew back to John Lennon airport in Liverpool the next morning.

Don't mean to be rude, but how much did you pay for them? I want to see how much I will have to save for one ticket.

And Placid Casual, you neg rep me every five minutes. What for? Get off my back!
