Maccabi Tel-Aviv 1-2 Hapoel Ramat Gan
It took an Avi Nimni penalty kick in the 65th minute to even keep Maccabi Tel-Aviv in the game as Ramat Gan certainly put on a memorable show and showed signs that they can even take the Cup.
Maccabi Haifa 0-3 Hapoel Be'er Sheva
This embarrasing loss has led to the resignation of Haifa manager, Yitzhak Shum. The search for a new manager will begin this summer.
Two names being kicked around as possible replacements, Gili Landau (currently of Maccabi Netanya) and Lufa Kadosh (currently of Hapoel Be'er Sheva).
It all started in the 7th minute as Ramik Ijersky passed to Elad Bonfeld for the early shocker against the Haifaites.
Then Ijersky got one for himself in the 36th minute. Things only got worse for Haifa as the defense played horribly in defending Ofir Haim as he was not shut down and his shot deflected off Maccabi Haifa's Arik Benado for the third and final goal of the night.
So now we don't have last years finalists in the competition.
