We really get the $hitty end of the stick when it comes to teams canceling friendlies on us. This must be the 4th time this has happened this year alone and we're only in March
I don't even know who to blame. Is it the inept TTFF or the little respect other teams have for T&T football. I suspect its a combination of both.

:o Well, personally I would have loved to play you guys. Both our teams are on the rise imho; and on a personal note, I like Carib. teams very much. Then again, our new FA pres.--Harold Mayne Nicholls--had said that while he worked in FIFA he had made many good contacts, and with that he wanted to ensure we would play "quality" teams (no disrespect to TnT). Brazil is Brazil, plus we're playing in Sweden, where there is a HUGE Chilean pop. (we played against Sweden there last year, and we looked like the home team). I hope you guys get some good games in before the GC. And sorry, on behald of the Chilean FA. :o

well Im sure anyone would want to play Brazil. I've got no problem with that. Heck even being compaired to them is flattering. What I have a major problem with is the last minute cancellation. Its going to be next to impossible to schedule a friendly with a good team now. Very disrespectful. How would Chile feel if we did this and Chile had no replacement. The TTFF needs to stand up for itself in these cases and not let the bigger teams take advatage of them ala Mexico Columbia and now Chile. We always hear of these games being schduled and then not comming off for some reason or the other. From now on I won't believe anything until I see the team on the field.
So much crap...........

I understand that, but I don't recall seeing the friendly posted on the FIFA site (TnT vs. Chile). In fact, the Brazil-Chile game was only ratified today by FIFA (meaning that up till today it was purely talk/negotiation even speculation, if you will, between the FAs). What I recall reading was one link from a TnT newspaper that said the friendly had been placed, but that's not exactly the most "official" source. I do, however, understand your complaint and just wish it hadn't been us who it happened with. :o

Don't mean to nitpick and not like it makes any difference but it was up on FIFA's site till last week.
I'm not saying anymore cuz I'm pretty mad right now...and with no one in particular which is even worse.

Costa Rica might play Bolivia in April

Bolivia have announced a match away to Chile in Iquique on 19th April.

I'd like to see the Caribbean sides playing more games. Guadeloupe, Trinidad & Tobago and Cuba have no matches scheduled, while Haiti only have the one definite game.

I agree. Haiti's friendly against panama will be a good prep for their GC match against Costa Rica. Maybe, Haiti should try to work out something with Honduras or USA for the match against Canada and a couple more friendlies against Guyana, Martinique, or Cuba for the match against Guadeloupe.

Mexico may want to give us a friendly in prep for their scheduled match against Cuba.

TnT should try to have dates with Canada and/or Mexico. That would provide them a good feel of how they will fare against USA.

Costa Rica and Honduras will probably knock on TnT's door in prep for their respective matches against Haiti and Cuba. No sweat there for TnT. Interestingly, those friendlies will also help TnT for the match against USA.

Guadeloupe can just set camp in France and play some West African teams there. Some friendlies against Martinique, Guyane, and Guyana may not be a bad idea. Friendlies against those outsiders would help Guatemala to enter the GC incognito.

Cuba should play at least a couple of friendlies against Costa Rica, Canada, ES, Guatemala, or Jamaica.

Hai vs TnT, TnT vs Jam, Jam vs Hai are useless.

I heard the government is bailing out TTFF. I hope they do and pull TnT's football out of that mess.

What happened to that big pile of cash TnT got for making it to Germany?

Something doesn't add up here.

They should have kept some of the money for their Federation. I believe they got just shy of $10 million for making it. No sense in all of it going to players.
