US keepers are very good.
Porras? Are you kidding me? I think that the Under-20 Tico keeper will be in the senior squad in the near future, he looked very solid in the qualifiers.
What Guate keeper are you talking about? The one who plays for Marquense was excellent.

1. I was just mentioning him as CR is one of the stronger CONCACAF sides--I wasn't trying to neccesarily say he was one of the best GKs in the region. Speaking of the CR U20 GK, though, doesn't he play in Europe?
2. I am referring to Foster. I don't know whether he is the one that plays for Marquense.

According to Wikipedia he plays for Alajuelense.

It would probably be an American keeper, loads of them are world-class. Our keeper Conejo in 1990 was considered the best in that World Cup by several sportswriters.

Friedel, Howard, and then Keller. After that there is a huge drop off. I do like Tony Warner from T&T. I think he has the making of a good EPL keeper.

Yea, I would agree, but on the 1st post I tried to establish being an int. currently as a parameter. :o Though if we discount that, you're 100% right.
I thought Warner had not been allowed to play for TnT?

Hahnemann should at least get some mention.. He has been the top ranked goalkeeper in England by Actim for a bit now..

I can't believe I forgot about Hahneman, but we have so many awesome keepers it's hard to keep track of all of them :D. I believe Warner is eligible for T&T. I believe it was Lloyd Samuels who was ruled ineligible due to appearences with England's U21's.

Ricardo Trigueño Foster, Marquense(Guate) is becoming a star on the Intl' level(WCQ 2006, best GAA in the UNCAF tourney) and Club level ( Marquense CCC), and he is being chased by Mexican copa sudaamerican Champs Pachuca, he has the size 6,2 the wing span, the reflexes, reaction time. he is definatley the Hottest keeper in region right now, awaiting a transfer.
he is up there , but me personally i think the best has to Kasey Keller and Sanchez.
Hislop on FC dallas is a little shakey , he is #2 behind Dario Sala on his team, and gets 2.5+ gaa of late
Hahnemann is a up and comer but, i lack seeing him play at the intl' level for the USA
Jamie penedo? was sublime 2 years ago, i haven't heard from him him in a while

*rolling on the floor laughing my ass off* I'm an America fan, but Ochoa sucks. Sorry, but there isn't a single Mexican keeper who could get a sniff in the US team.

Here it is. Thread over. Lock it up. The 3 US EPL keepers are amoung the tops in the world's best league. Until Mexico has a keeper that can claim that there isn't any way a person can claim someone playing in a lesser league is better.

I'd take Sanchez as backup for sure!

Maybe we can use him as a late game sub if we need someone to take a cheap shot at an opposing striker :D Truth be told I respect Sanchez as a goalkeeper. He';s a pretty good player and could probably do well in a league like Holland or Portugal. I do think both Ochoa (I'm even saying this as an America fan) and Corona are pretty poor.
