Kasey goes 90 in a 2-2 draw in Rotterdam.

It was a bolt from the blue as defender Van Haaren left Keller helpless with a screamer from 25 yards.

Lurling and Van Hooijdonk went close for Feyenoord before they edged ahead on 73 minutes, Kalou sweeping home from close range.

Keller then saved superbly to deny a trademark Van Hooijdonk free-kick and we cashed in to level with three minutes left.

Spurs were without several defenders, including King and Richards.

I just take it that he wants to play, and has shown that he can hold his own. Personally, I think he is better than Sully.

"Teddy, Christian Ziege, Kasey Keller and Jonathan Blondel all started for the first time in pre-season in front of over 40,000 on a rain-soaked Dutch afternoon. "

From, the article earlier sited in this thread. So maybe this hoopla over Keller isn't much.

Hoopla over Keller! What?

Maybe Keller just rejoined the team earlier this week so this would be the first real opportunity for him to even play?

The same applies to Sheringham and Ziege who just rejoined Tottenham after an extended post-World Cup vacation.

That stung the hosts into action and captain Paul Bosvelt latched on to Leonardo's pass before crashing a shot against the crossbar with goalkeeper Kasey Keller beaten.

Feyenoord continued to press Glenn Hoddle's side in search of an equaliser and their efforts were rewarded in the 36th minute when defender Ramon van Haaren smacked an unstoppable 25-yarder beyond Keller.

Van Hooijdonk forced a brilliant save from Spurs goalkeeper Kasey Keller before a sloppy mistake at the back led to Spurs' second goal.

This weekend was the first good opportunity, but there was a choice between Saturday (Watford) and Sunday (Feyenoord). One observer thought being picked for the more challenging game might be a good sign for Keller. I hope he was right.
