For 10.1 million at Zenit st Petersburg.
Celtic had targeted this guy but it's clear he's well out there price range.

Not out of range, they just didnt want to be held to ransom by shaktar, shame cos he looked a quality buy, would have much prefered to shell out the 5-6 million shaktar wanted than the 3 we spend on gravesen.

class act, has easily been worth all of that €15m for Zenit. Can't count how many times he broke down Bayern attacks, was fantastic in both legs. Rangers will have to watch out for him.

I hope he pumps Rangers for a hatrick. Maybee Smitty will play another game of 11 behind the ball.

Since he's came on board and donned the captain's armband for Zenit, Zenit has a.) broken the Muscovite stranglehold on the RPL title and delivered the first league championship to the team in 23 years and b.) guided them to a European final after running the gauntlet of Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Olympique Marseille & Villareal in the KO rounds.
I'd say, so far, he's been worth every penny :D
He really is a world-class DM, how he's not playing for a big name in the EPL or Serie A right now is beyond me. Juventus has been poking around with interest as of late - the club doesn't need the money, Tymo is a lot more important to Zenit and their first ever entrance into the next CL than a transfer fee that would easily exceed what Zenit paid Shakhtar.
He should figure large in the UEFA Cup Final. He usually does, has displayed a marvelous penchant for displaying his best in the big games.
