I mean, with him being 18 now he is more likely to get a British work permit. From my limited knowledge, EPL requires wp for players without EU passport.

I don't watch his matches, do you? If so, in your opinion would he be ready for a recall to Arsenal?

I'm not that confident he may stay with Arsenal, since they have guys like Van Persie, Walcott, Reyes/Baptista in front of him.

I am very worried about Vela not scoring at all. Yeah, he has six goals. However, since the injury in November, he has not scored at all! Yeah, he made some good plays during the U-20 qualifying tournament, but I am not sure he has that confidence with Salamanca.


I was listening to the first half of the Salamanca vs. Valladolid match. Vela misses like three goals. He made like three pases that could have ended in a goal. Either Vela needs better teammates or he's in a slump. I don't think Arsenal will look at this with good eyes.

Unfortunately, I think you're right, something is definitely off. At this point I just hope he gets lucky and gets one in by accident. I think that might snap him out of it. The reason I say this is because in the U20 qualifiers he looked fine physically...it's all in his head. For his sake he better fix it because Bermudez looks awfully good (beautiful goal this weekend).
