For new posters - this is not a city for a relocated team, this is an expansion city. The league after securing ownership in case of a worst case scenario for Kansas City last year opened bidding for the expansion market.

there are a handful of people who know people that are 'in the know'. these anonymous sources have proven to be legitimate on more that a number of occasions. the bids for all investors of a philadelphia expansion franchise are due tomorrow. so it would be logical that in 2 weeks time (mid-march, per bryan's prediction) there will be a major annoucement.
