Mere coincidence that the press releases announcing Alcaraz-Cuellar and Gregor's signings appear on the league site within minutes of each other? Conspiracy theorist in me says that the two clubs (and the league) had a gentlemen's agreement to not release the news publicly until both players were signed and cleared by the league.

This blows. :(

Hugo is a great player.

I sure hope the Timbers are better in '07 than they were in '06. While it would be hard to be worse, it won't be easy to show a lot of improvement.
