Midnight Riders

The Midnight Riders will be holding a very special meeting, Saturday, March 10th.
All Members are encouraged to attend - We need your vote!
Mark your calendars...the Midnight Riders Board will be holding an important members-only meeting on Saturday March 10, starting at 3:30pm. This meeting will help to determine the future of our organization. Membership applications will be available for those who have not yet renewed or joined.
Location is TBD...more on that in one minute.
After our last General meeting in November, it was suggested that the Riders become a non-profit organization. It was also suggested that we draft bylaws to govern our organization. Since then, the Riders Board has met, discussed the benefits of becoming non-profit, formed a bylaws committee, and drafted a set of bylaws. We plan to introduce these bylaws to the general membership for this meeting. A vote to adopt these bylaws will follow.
At this meeting, the Riders will also collect donations for our troops in Iraq, as discussed here (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=472895).
Now, the location......our usual, free, meeting location, Good Times, is not available on the 10th. We are researching other locations and have a couple of potential places to hold this meeting, but before we finalize the location we ask your help. If you know of a good place in a close-to-Boston location that's either T-accessible or has parking please contact Amy Ross know immediately at revfan@yahoo.com. The location has to allow for discussion among a large group of people (so bars and restaurants are generally out). We have found that some public libraries can accommodate a large group (potentially 50+ people) for free if a cardholder requests it.
The agenda is pretty open other than a couple of items (including the above), so if you've got questions, please feel free to bring them. My hope is we'll also most likely start pushing info on the NY bus trip in July.
We're hoping to have the location set in the next 24 hours if possible.
We can't reiterate this enough ... this is a hugely important meeting that will affect the Midnight Riders organization for the foreseeable future. Please do your best to join us.
Questions, email us (themidnightriders@yahoo.com) or post it here.
Look forward to seeing you on the 10th (after the Brewing!)
