Nice to see that our Don't play well but win nonetheless-concept works fine in Bundesliga 2 as well. :)
And by the way, this de Wit guy we got on loan from Leverkusen is class. If he can keep it up, I can see him on the national team someday in the next decade.

Hell yeah! I tried to yell at him at their match against 1860 a couple of weeks ago. I'm not surprised he couldn't hear me with all the noise from their fans.
(I was only a few rows up from the field.)
The Osnabrueck fans were awesome in Munich. I'll always wish them well.

Arrived at Osnabruck this afternoon 30 mins before kick off and was charged 35euro for a ticket (All they had left) in a new stand with half a roof in the middle of a building site. Rip off Osnabruck anyone agree?

Great game 3-2 to Osnabruck around 13,000 there, good view of the game as you can see by the pictures.

Well, that seems quite expensive, I agree.

The pricing for the new "Nordtribüne" is ridiculously expensive and is highly criticized by the fans as well. The management is kind of surprised about the low attendance figures in Osnabrück so far this season (14730 vs Freiburg, 13200 against FSV Frankfurt), but to me, this ain't surprising at all considering the prices.
Anyway, the match last Sunday against FSV Frankfurt was one of the worst games I have ever attended. Both teams played abysmal football. The level of play was not worthy to be called "professional football". The audience was stunned by this pathetic display and therefore dead silence for most of the time.
The game was awful and so was the atmosphere, but we won and that is what counts in the end. Hence I'm happy anyway. :)
But if anyone of you guys reading this plan to attend a game in Osnabrück some day, pick a friday evening match and not one to be played on sunday afternoon. The match and the atmosphere almost always is better on Friday than it is on Sunday.

Just watched Osna v Nurmberg.
Osna - boring. They have no flair, creativity, anything to make say "Watch my team"
Also, didn't get a good angle on the Vfl goal, was it a handball?

Okay, what is up with Marvin Braun?
Guy scores another game winner today, but doesn't want to celebrate with his team, runs over to some fan in the stands - what was up with that?
I check out the guy's profile on the Vfl website, and he's got his own modeling website.

Hello VfL fans...
As an American teaching English abroad, I have really been enjoying my home for the year, the beautiful city of Osna, and in addition I've taken very quickly to the VfL. I've been to every home match since October and the away match in Ahlen (always Ostkurve, of course.)
I'm really excited for the second half of the season. The game against Duisburg has given me a lot of hope that things are coming together and that we've finally realized how to play with tempo. The majority of the Vorrunde the team just looked SLOW. No fire, no passion, and no movement when they didn't have the ball. The past few matches have looked better, so let's hope that the guys keep it going starting with Pauli.
If we could just get through the first 20 minutes without allowing a goal...
Alles für Osna! Lila-Weiss! :D

Very cool.
Do you have a season ticket in the fans section? My good buddy, Holger Deppe, is a VfL fan, great guy.
I'm hoping to get back there this year as well.
