I will be in the hub of the Southwest (their name, not mine) Lubbock, Texas, Home of raining dirt. Luckily my hotel has telemundo, so I will be able to watch.
My expectation:
Hugo looks to build depth for his defense, so I expect to see most of the defenders play. Cacho will play the full 90, and Blanco and Palencia will each play a half, subbing for each other. I am keen to see who plays in the midlfield. I would like to see the Atlas boys play some, and Guardado the whole 90.
My line-up
If Hugo goes 4-1-2-1-2
-----------------Ochoa------------------
--Gringo----Castro-------Pinto ----Magallon
-------------Galindo---------------------
--Medina-----------------Guardado---
--------------Blanco----------------------
----Kikin-------------------Cacho------
Subs:
Palencia for Blanco
Huiqui for Castro
Viades for Magallon
Arce for Kikin (palencia moves up)
If Hugo plays a 4-4-2
-----------------Ochoa------------------
--Gringo----Castro-------Pinto ----Magallon
--Arce----Torrado-------Galindo-----Guardado
----Blanco----------
------------------------Cacho------
Palencia for Blanco
Huiqui for Castro
Viades for Magallon
Medina for Arce

Telemundo says what riverplate has, but also says live. Yet the game is at 7:45pm PT according to Ticketmaster. Anyone have updates on when the game will really be on?

I would tend to trust Riverplates post more, infact im gonna edit mine. He may have more info on why the different start times.

It's not a different start time. It's simply that Telemundo isn't showing the game live, despite what their website claims. The times I've listed for the Eastern and Central time zones reflects information in the television commercials they are airing about the game, in addition to listings in TV Guide.com and Yahoo!TV.
I checked the local Los Angeles and San Diego affiliates of Telemundo for the Pacific coast time and those listings say the broadcast starts at 8 PM.

Why was the mex-usa game on univision?
because Univision has the rights to all US games, and they were the home team.

Lemme get this straight why isn't the game live? Is it because Chivas has a game at 9:30, and it finishes at 11:30... and at 11:30 Mexico Vs Venezuela starts but it wont be live...is it due to ratings? cause many peope will be watching the Chivas game instead? ...

ojo
Llama la atención que los sudamericanos sólo convocaron a un portero para este duelo, por lo que si hay alguna lesión o expulsión, algún jugador de campo tendrá que ponerse de arquero, algo increíble en estos niveles.
