All I can say about that is.. YES!!!!!

Excellent performance all around... we looked strong in defense, strong in midfield, and our attack was actually effective. I noticed a distinct LACK of our usual "boot it upfield and hope someone is there" technique, and it really payed off.

4-0 to the Addicks, and a punch straight to the face of our relegation rivals.

congrats on an excellent result.

just out of curiosity, around the 13 minute mark, a chant went up that was quickly met with some boos. might anyone know what that was? something to do with curbs, perhaps?

i would think that he's still well regarded at the valley, after all he did for the club, no?

Saw the highlights of the goals. WOW! We looked good.

I wish I could see the whole match. Anyone got the direct link to watching CAFC TV on Wednesday nights? I can never find it. Thanks.

The only booing that was taking place was any time Paul Konchesky touched the ball. Most Charlton supporters are still mad at him for wanting/accepting a move to West Ham before last season.

I don't think anyone was slagging off Curbs. However, I did feel that watching West Ham was like watching a typical Curbs' Charlton side in that they had a hard-working forward in Tevez (ala Darren Bent) and the rest of the squad looked clueless. I just don't think Curbs is much of a motivator.

All I can say is:

Su-per, Super Al
Su-per, Super Al
Su-per, Super Al
Super Alan Pardew!

:D

Hey, for their good play, Thomas made BBC's team of the week while Ambrose made ESPNsoccernet's TOTW. Mr. Pardew was also named manager of the week on ESPNsoccernet.

What I don't understand is why Darren Bent didn't make either team. Why do the pundits think Thomas and Ambrose played so well? D. Bent created space and made passes -- the assist on Ambrose's pretty opener. With the defense watching Bent's every move, our attacking outside mids made the most of their opportunities.

Go, Addicks.

Well, when I use the link in the other thread, I don't get anything. It starts to go to the station as it used to do, then bumps me to the portal -- where I can find nothing. So, does anyone have a direct link that works? Or does it only work on Wednesday nights? It used to show all kinds of shows on that channel. Now I can't seem to get the channel.

Thanks.

Hartley - I go to this link:

http://wwitv.com/portal.htm

Then scroll down the list of countries on the left.
Select USA (a-l).
In the list of stations select "America one".
I then get the station in a new window.

Looking forward to watching tonight!
