Come on Gus...avenge?!

To loosely borrow from the Mexican Goalkeeper, Oswaldo Sanchez, prior to the us/mex match this past thursday...

"Playing a league game against the Galaxy is not revenge. You can only call it revenge if and when the game is the MLS Cup, but God will pit us against each other again and then, yes, we will get revenge. Now, for the moment, this is a league game, nothing more."

one more thing....

you gotta love the different takes that the globe and the herald have on kamler.

Brian Kamler will never be confused with Taylor Twellman.

The veteran midfielder is one of the elder statesmen on the New England Revolution. He is 31 and doesn't score many goals. In fact, he had five goals in 120 games before joining the Revolution in May 2002.

Since then, the former Creighton University All-American from Ballwin, Mo., has scored six goals in 27 games.
Gus Martins, Boston Herald
Kamler, who had been disappointing since joining the Revs in a trade last May, blasted the ball to the far corner for the opening score.

I would venture w/o checking the stats, that Kamler probably has more goals than any other midfielder (if not, than he's right behind Ralston). He's displayed a pretty impressive scoring touch in his time here.

I agree, I think Kamler's underappreciated
