Here's the link: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/sports/dcunited/daily/may03/11/united11.htm
Looks like he was watching the same game...
From the article: " Perhaps most disturbing was United's inability to maintain an attack and create opportunities within 25 yards. Central players couldn't beat defenders with the ball, unmarked flank players pleaded -- to no avail -- for passes and free kicks and corner kicks hardly threatened goalkeeper Tim Howard."

Maybe for Goff's next article, he can interview Ray about why we're worrying about a Nigerian defender when we clearly need someone who has the ability to score a goal!

Maybe he's trying to free up someone like Prideaux, Namoff, Petke, or Nelsen for a trade with someone who has a forward?

OK, assuming that's the idea, who has an extra forward and could use a defender? Chicago? KC?

Brian West looks to be the odd man out in Columbus. He's only played about 60 minutes in 3 games so far.

I am afraid Brian West would not solve our problems.
But there is a certain A-league forward by way of Columbus who could probably do wonders in the present DC United situation.
Come to think of it, towards the end of a game Ali Curtis would probably be a greater threat up top.

Perhaps the FAQ should include sarcasm warnings for newbies. :D

Anyone who watched the A League game on FSW Friday night would not be so high on Dante Washington. He did score a goal so I can't say he was terrible but in the first half he did not convert 3 times when he had good chances. He looked just like our other forwards did against Dallas. Roy was invisible except for the blonde hair.

It seems that the Nigerian defender would be roster-exempt...or maybe a replacement for Reyes.
But, don't we already have good defenders (Bobby Convey and Ben Olsen) to replaces Reyes? ;)
