Man, I guess it would an understatement to say that valdez is having a poor season.
He would be better off as a 4th choice striker at Bremen.
And we would have been better off spending that 4.5M Euros on a f#cking playmaker.

I think Valdez was our best player :-)

I was going to ask you guys that if he's so good, how the hell did he wind up with a sorry ass club like us for 2.8M Euros???
I have no idea what was he thinking about during the transfer window :(, oh well we will see next season what will happen (hopefully in Bundesliga I :( )

Well, seeing that we got him so cheaply, I'd say there were just no bigger clubs interested.

I wouldn't say that. I think he helped your cause the most. I think your best player in yellow, white and a little bit of black was Christoph Metzelder. Valdez just set you up with a goal and a man more. Metzelder gifted you guys two more.
You guys gave those back when the match was in the bag, but that doesn't matter. Metzelder was the main guy who seemed to just "give up" on the match and as much as I want him to stay in Dortmund, that pissed me off to end.

I remember that we used to hold the team together and had that same fighting "do or die" spirit as Reuter, Kohler and Moeller...aaaahh, the good ol' days...

"The good ol' days" were almost ten full years ago. The club has pretty much been on a downhill spiral since that traitor bas^ard Hitzfeld quit.
Niebaum, Meier and Sammer proved that with one of Bayern's few "down seasons", such as the one they are having now, and another contender being as "stupid" as Leverkusen were, one could actually buy a championship.
Unfortunately, when that was over, and true football acumen was needed, our management proved to be clueless.
A problem we suffer from to this day........

How long have you been a BVB fan??
Dude, I believe as far as most of us are concerned, 1993-1997 were "the good old days".
2001-2002 was a lucky blip and 2002-2003 was the year it all started to go to shit.
THOSE were the "Amoroso, Ewerthon, Koller" years.........
