vs. mexico, defensively the US held extremely strong. And i must say i was thoroughly impressed with the play of Pablo and Eddie, they held down the central defense wonderfully. How about that save by Howard? that mexican ripped a hell of a shot only to be snuffed out with a great save.

I was also impressed by Convey, he held the ball well and sent a few nice crosses, i see great things in the future for this kid.

bocanegra played pretty good. i was loving it when the Meixo striker tried to push him down after the ball was gone and then boca just pulled him down with him and looked at him. the tables have turned, they can't mess with us anymore
