I hope the official online stores and resellers sell the replica kits with the new numbering and sleeve patches quick. Coz I want one now :D
Planning to get a Liverpool home (short-sleeve) with 8 Gerrard, new EPL style.
And a Liverpool home (long-sleeve) with 8 Gerrard, Champions League style.
OOo yea
PS: And I hope they provide actual pre-made examples soon :p

i like the new lettering/numbers.
it has a resemblance to the current lettering, which is classic.
but it's not too over the top and not too bland. it's a nice transition from the current style.
can't wait to see what it will look like on the new wave of shirts.

Well I was hoping it looked like the Puma national team numbering with last season's adidas lettering, but as usual my dreams have been shattered.
And I am sure it will grow on me, but not at the moment. I join the "boo crew".

those puma numbers were classic...tottenham used them for their european lettering/numbering this year
i don't like the new lettering at all...why change? The current font is just fine

Here is the new font, credit to Fedorusta in SP. It certainly is lower profile then the old font and the number and the lion looks a bit cheap really. I prefer the old style for now...

I think it looks a bit rubbish. No so much the number but the lettering. It looks really cheap.

Where can you buy the old font for numbers and letters?
Cause my uncle has his own printing shop, and I've been lookin everywhere for EPL numbers and letters for some of my jerseys that need my name and number on the back.

Mentioned this in my post in the other thread, they do their job well. Beware, it don't come cheap though!
If you prefer, I can just go and get you some numbering from my local shop - it will be replica size, not player size though.

Sheffield United had the new lettering/numbering on their shirts today. I guess they wanted to give it a go before they got relegated!

I dont think it looks too bad on the spurs kit. It looks better than it does on the Newcastle one anyhow.
I think its just going to take some time to get used too. I want to see what it looks like on the back of the United shirt though. I don't think it will look too bad.

It looks realy similar to the nike european style lettering this year, still old fashioned but a tad more modern. I like it, it's got class.
