I guess it's not really what the article is about, but it's what I was most interested in, along with the English forward...
Discuss amongst yourselves.

Ughh!
A promising forward sounds good, though.

Beat me to it. Don't know what to think. The fact that DC was approached is curious.

Not only is he crap, we don't need him.

Any idea what Regis' salary would be?
I too found it strange that DC was approached. Why us?

And doesn't the Post have a file photo of Petke playing for us?

Here's the news in this story -
United's season ticket sales reached 7,055 this week to set a club record.
Big ups to Zack and Co. With overall attendance down, they need this boost. Congrats.

They should use this one, provided they slip YCJ some money:

The Turkish forward does sound interesting. I wonder why he wants to start his career in the US, though.
As for Regis - we really don't know what that means: "D.C. has been approached about acquiring U.S. World Cup defender David Regis." It may not mean we're interested. It may just be that someone called MLS about Regis coming to the States and MLS is shopping around to see if anyone will take him.

Interesting, too, is that Ivanov is travelling and may play.

Maybe Regis' wife is from this area?
Or, maybe he wants to stalk Arena?

Joey, have you ever been to a Turkish prison?

Regis would probably be a good fit in Colorado! :D

That does bring up the question of how, if we were interested, would we acquire him. We don't have an allocation or a discovery slot, right? Therefore I don't see him coming here.
As for Colorado, they have an allocation or some method of acquisition as a result of Grimandi leaving. They'd probably rather have a central midfielder but Regis on the left can probably work with Chung moving inside a bit.

That is a strong clue on the "who" question.
Now, what about the "why" question?
