Red Sox fans are loyal, but can be annoying as all hell. Here in central PA, there are almost as many Red Sox fans as Phillies fans, which is very disturbing. Everyone's hopped on the Red Sox bandwagon, which is funny considering true Red Sox fans hate everyone who hopped on the Yankees bandwagon.
The same in Tennessee. The only baseball hats I see anymore are for the Sox, the Yanks, and the Cubs. This used to be Braves country.

Funny...those are my three least favorite baseball teams.
The Braves I don't have a problem with. Many of my friends from Wake are hardcore Braves fans.

I've got a general fondness for the Cubs because I watch a ton of their games on WGN. Hate the Yanks and Sox though.

Good (about hating the BoSox and Yanks...as a ChiSox fan, I can't allow you to be fond of the Cubs :)).
Maybe you should consider supporting the Phillies if you ever end up in that area...I went to a White Sox/Phillies game this season, their fans are surprisingly un-obnoxious.

You like the White Sox? sweet. I knew you were cool. I like both Cubs and Sox.
I have no problem with the Cubs, almost my entire family are Cubs fans.
My wife and I are Sox fans since in the 15 yrs, I just happened to attend
way more Sox games. My wife went to both and she likes Comiskey and the Sox
much better than Wrigley and the Cubs. Chicago is definately the Cubs town, but
a few Sox fans are around.
I'm with you can't stand the Yanks. I really don't have a problem with the Red Sox or
their fans. But many of their fans keep playing the victim card like they are the Cubs.
Sorry BoSox fans, you won the WS. You are just another team now.

Yallop and Lalas I imagine will be joining the ranks of the unemployed shortly. Honestly BW and I could put together a better squad then Lalas. All we need is TigerDave to manage the cap and we would be set. Dave I hope you're good at cooking the books?

He turned the US over control issues. He wanted to oversee the whole program and USSF didn't want a coach with that power. Incidentally Cappleo is rumored to be taking over the role of Technical Director for US Soccer.

Capello is one of the best coaches, if not the best coach, on the planet. That would be a coup for US Soccer.
