Twas.

Great support once again at Qwest. Although, I must admit, while I don't have anything against Sounders FC, I think the jerseys are hideous. You guys look like Slimer from Ghostbusters.

Which is why should I ever purchase a Sounders kit, it'll be the blue change/training kit. Much, much better.

The city is nuts for the Sounders and I can't really explain it. it's deeper then new team hype.

Drew Carrey meet up with the ECS prior to the march to the stadium dropped his card at the bar and bought the house a round. Very nice.

City Dave,

Word on the street is that Cleveland will play @ Columbus June 30 if they beat Rochester tomorrow. Would you be at that game (at Columbus)? I just might...

Edit: I might have that Open Cup date against Rochester wrong. Perhaps you could fill me in.

No, the game on Saturday was a league game. And we killed them. The Open Cup game is tomorrow, Tuesday, at Rochester. And, yes, we'll be travelling to Columbus on the 30th when we win. The Green Army will definitely be making a road trip!

Is Carpenter getting to play?

No, he hasn't played since our fourth game of the season. Not even as a sub.

We've acquired a lot of players since then, so it appears that we'll only see him again if there is an injury to a starter/sub.

Nice, should be a good atmosphere.

Besides the fact that the attendance will be lower because it's a weekday game

Why are the Germany, Bayern and Newcastle boards so much more civil / intelligent than any United States or MLS board? I still don't understand.

Do you post at the Seattle Sounders board? Is it as filled with self-important out-of-touch soccer nerds like the rest of the MLS boards?

The Newcastle board is more civil/intelligent than almost all other Prem and Prem club boards.

I find myself posting less frequently on BS overall these days. I've meet some great people on the Sounders and Toon board though and I wouldn't trade that for anything.

The Sounders threads get over run with trolls and the MLS N&A board is full of people ready to spew hate on anyone that doesn't conform to the increasingly narrow views of the Big Soccer MLS Intelligentsia. (There's a political analogy in there that I'll leave alone for the time being):p
