The Revs....Nothing like another disapointing Revs season to look forward to after another disappointing Newcastle season.
Thats the worst reason I 've heard yet.
sorry but the masochist in me could only take so much dissapointment in a year..
as for drinking well, put it this way, aside from Milw*ukee, we are most drunk town in the US...I don't need a reason:D

Maybe so, but remember the Southgate quote? There are some things that you just don't say even if you think it.
Very true.
Maybe ToonUSA has a bad history with Canadians...e.g. beaten up with hockey sticks as a child :p

The Revs. We can outdrink any other fans in the league (although props to Dallas, they come close).
Plus, no matter how good things look, you'll always end up disppointed, so you'll feel right at home. Nothing like another disapointing Revs season to look forward to after another disappointing Newcastle season.Yes, we drink to forget. Thus priming us for the next Revs game/next Revs season and so on. It's a vicious cycle. :p

You are an idiot.
All of those lies you have just told don't help anyone except Canadians sleep at night, because they feel they can maybe stack up to the US in something which is laughable. Socialist morons.
awww. is somebody jealous? lol :D jks

Heh...I'm actually from Milwaukee, just live in Boston now. But the Riders were already good at knocking them back before I joined to bolster the effort. Not quite up to Milwaukee standards, of course, but better than anyone else with an MLS team :D

Don't pick DC United whatever you do.:D
July 20, 2000: DC 3, Newcastle 1 (a very nice birthday present)
If you look up DC's international record, we have won about 2/3 of all games we have played against foreign clubs (whether played in our preseason or theirs), and we are like 8-1-1 vs Premier League teams. If you wanna root for an MLS team that stands the test vs the rest of the world, you can't do better than DC. DC fans are an arrogant bunch, but then United is the most accomplished team in MLS history, which fuels our attitude.
MLS is improving year after year, though, so eventually you won't go wrong rooting for any it its teams as far as competitiveness goes, but the standard for the league has always been DC United.

DC is a fine organization. Maybe a bit to many foreigners for my liking and not really a place for you American talent to develop but I still like to watch them.

True, but in Argentina, Triple lindys and Half gainers to the pitch is the typical response to bone crunching tackles. While in the MLS chest fighting, pushing and greco roman wrestling is a the appopriate response...

BTW that Toronto match was one of the best MLS games I've ever watched outside of Chivas vs. Galaxy. Great atmosphere with knowledgeable fans.
