I test drove a new Jetta last summer, it was f#cking sweet. No joke.
Plus those cars last forever, unlike most American-made POSs.

I'm still driving a MkII VW Golf GTI from 1989. I've given lifts to people younger than the car. Funny reading the article saying that there were plans for free gifts for the first few VW's to park at the stadium, be class if someone showed up in an ancient (classic) one like mine. :D

You should get an extra gift for your steering wheel being on the wrong side :p

Yeah its on the right side ;) and the car being made in "West Germany" should be worth extra gifts too I think. All I have to do is export my car to the US and go to a game at DC for a free t-shirt or extra large cup holder.
In a pathetic attempt to stay on topic my "very special" Robert Vs Beckham Free Kick Tally is now:
Robert 1
Beckham 1

while I think the quality of play is great, I usually watch the games I see on mute.
Mainly for the fact of those ANNOYING ********ING HORNS. Those are ********ing annoying and whoever invented them needs to be shot.
Drums are cool, as well as flags, but those blasted horns are the reason why I can't watch it on TV and just have it on mute.
Ugh...but hey, I hope eventually that the Copa Libertadores allows MLS teams to (eventually) send a representative. It's the best competition in the hemisphere and if Mexican teams have finally made their way into it, I don't see why the MLS cannot either, though I do worry about the rude awakening the MLS teams will have considering their stifling 2.5USD budget. I hope it increases to at least 5mil USD in 2 years.

American fans need to start singing more. That's the coolest thing about games over here.

Apparently, you do. You responded to his first post on the topic, didn't you?
Why don't you just admit that you felt the need to knock it because it's DC, not for any legitimate reason?
